PC EU trials, mostly just guilds do it?

it is so difficult to find a trial on Craglorn (or any capital) using zone chat. I know pugging trials is not something pleasant to many, but it's ok for anyone doing it outside their guild's schedule, or in my case without having a trials guild (nor space for it). Pugging is good and quick just like joining random dungeons.

i stay in Craglorn during prime hours a few days per week, and barely any trial going on. Sunspire a few, and maybe one Cloudrest, and rarely if i am patient enough, i sometimes catch a Craglorn trial. Everyone types "LFG" and if someone takes the courage to type LFM, either not enough people or no tank to be found. A lot of time is lost searching, also cycling through the capitals reposting the same message with LFM.

the lacks of a global chat and/or a trial finder are the problem. There can be added another tab in the "group & activity finder" for trial finder.

and i have another question for why the problem may exist. Does zone chat apply to all instances of a map? Just as you don't see people from other maps instances, maybe also the chat is not shown per instance.

Nope, it doesn't. Separate instances have separate zone chats. I can't tell how many times I tried to get in some quick normal runs and had to switch characters then when I zoned back into Crag I was put into a different instance and couldn't find the group lfging.
It'd be nice to have a way to switch instances, right now the only way is to port to a friend/guildmate if they are in a different one.

PC EU? Craglorn? Honestly, I've never had a problem finding a trial, even during non-Primetime.

I've just joined there now and straight away there's LFMs for trials.

I can't speak for vTrials but from 5 pm to 9 pm i always find nTrial groups for every Trial. vHRC happens very often tho. Also when i'm making a group it usually takes about 5-10 min to get a full group. But that's only my experience might be connected to the instance your on
    also known as Overlich.

Ntrial should be easy to find, ad in guilds and a few different zones, DONT try to pug Vtrial!

nTrials are easy to find, although it depends which one, nCR and nSS pretty common, craglorn ones too, sometimes there is a nMol also, and occasionally nAS and nHof too but these last ones much less frequent.

vTrials on the other hand, it's only vHRC common in Craglorn zone chat, and also vSS these days, but the others quite rare, sometimes guild group will search there to fill up the last slots if they short a dd or two.

There isnt that many that pug vet Trials from Zone Chat. If Guild Slots are an issue perhaps you can join a guilds discord and add the raidlead/guildlead to your friendlist and see if you can join runs that way I dont know how many guilds do Things like that but Im sure there is Guild/raid leads you can talk to who wont mind.
Normal Trials were running Pretty often in pugs back when I did it sometimes, well that time is over a year ago but I cant imagine it being much worse now.

Pretty sure Zone chat is for all instances of that Zone. Have not seen anything credible to suggest otherwise and have seen many dungeon groups formed via zone.

However, it is much easier to get into trial groups form a guild (or guilds) that have people that organize them regularly. Also tends to be better players than a group formed just form zone.

last night and the other nights before, i barely found trials to join, and i rarely see vHRC done. No i never even join any DLC vet trials with pugs.

it is possible to zone chat to be separate instance. Chat in prime hours is pretty quiet surprisingly. If it's true then it's a huge factor. Lack of global chat was enough to time traveling to each capital to ask again for people. If zone is separated per instance then it's bad.

In 6 years I didnt do a single Trial. Guess I´m spoiled by the Groupfinderfunction of WoW, but I would never stand somewhere yelling for Groups. Thats just humiliating.

Nope, zone chat is just for your instance... But instance is the wrong definition. Phase, shard,... Would be better than instances as this is also used for areas with quests.

chat is actually not separated by map instance. If you invite to group someone over chat, you might meet up and not see eachother except your health bars. This means he is in another instance.

Same instance, different "place", if one finished quest that changes the scenario and the other one didn't, it will be "as if" they are in different instances. Tbh i believe same instance is a thing, after all, all requests for help with wb i seen in chat, always met the person to help without grouping #dd group finder life

I would suggest using Craglorn chat and then talking to any players you meet in the trials about guilds they are in.

Or checking guild finder for trials guilds

Don't forget there's an event going on, many people now in Cyrodiil / Imperial city instead of running trials.

When there's no event in Crag at peak times in pceu usually there are quite a few nCR and nSS runs advertised and HRC runs, both n and v, are fairly common too. Others not so much, but occasionally you can see nMol, nHof, nAA, nSO too.

You might try to find a discord where players are pugging / finding group members / replacements for trials, if you don't want to replace one of your five guilds with a trials guild. IIRC there was such a discord advertised in the guild channel here in the official forum, players could join the discord to find group members / lfg, without being in an actual guild in-game.

A lot of people including my own raid group aren't soley guild members however the problem is people wont pick a lot of people up from crag for anything other than Crag raids and maybe some normal runs of something. vet runs especially things like vCR +1,2 & 3 and vHoF and even vMoL and vSS tend to only be done by closed groups because in most cases it only takes one person to mess up to wipe the whole group. You're better off finding a raid guild if any are taking people on atm.
