New Necromancer Tip: Self Healing

Welcome,

Here I will show you a convenient detail about how YOU can apply an extremely powerful self-healing effect onto your Necromancer Class. This may be used essentially for all roles but it does favor a role or two more than some.

This concept can be adapted and used in many other ways, so I strongly encourage you to look into other Gear Sets that may suit your needs to combine with after checking out this article.

The numbers provided are the base values. When you apply your own stats, they are higher.

This may be used for PvP & PVE.

Twilight Remedy is the Key Focus.

Gear Set #1
A.) Twilight Remedy
2 Rings, Necklace, Weapon(s)

* Add Harmony Traits to 2 Rings + Necklace

Gear Set #2
B.) This is where it gets even more creative for you.

Are you a Tank? Healer? DPS? There are many sets to play with this Gear Setup like Juggernaut or Icy Conjuror for some basics, or perhaps even Calurion's Gear Set.

Monster Set
C.) Earthgore
4% Healing Done
32k+ Healing/ 6 Seconds.
This is optional, however once again this is to stack your Self Healing buff. You may use Chokethorn or even Pirate Skeleton. Maybe you will find Slimecraw or Maw of The Inferno, etc., more useful for your role. It all depends.

D.) Necromancer Abilities:
Boneyard + Goliath Ultimate + Scythe
Under the Grave Lord Skill line, you can Morph Boneyard ability into Avid Boneyard.
(I think its called that)
This allows you to activate your own synergy within a DOT radius that also increases your damage done while active and deals damage when the synergy activates, as well as healing you for said damage dealt.

As for the ultimate, it goes without being said as to why it works with this. I suppose the Scythe ability is needless to explain as well.

"WHY IS THIS A GOOD SELF-HEALING TIP FOR A NECROMANCER?"

When we add TWILIGHT REMEDY and utilize the HARMONY TRAITS from EXEMPLARY ITEMS, we drastically increase the benefits gained from our own activated synergy.

If you did not know, the Harmony Traits increase your benefits gained from synergies activated by 30%. When we put this to all our jewelery items, this bumps up to 90%.

As Twilight Remedy shows, our 5th peice bonus feature grants our allies a massive +20k healing/10 seconds when they activate our synergies.

If you did not know, YOU do count as your OWN ALLY.

What this means is when you activate your own Synergy while using Avid Boneyard, you earn the effect that Twilight Remedy has to offer. And that effect is now increased by 90% with your Harmony Traits - making this roughly 40k - 50k healing/10 seconds when you use your Boneyard synergy as a Necromancer, and Earthgore really tops it off.

Thank you and remember to look online if you're unfamiliar with armor sets. These numbers are higher given your personal stats and may be improved by utilizing a variety of different gear sets to gain a different combat approach for PvE or PvP

Im sorry if I don't reply or read your comments. I am generally here just to make suggestions or reports. Have a good one.

Pretty sure twilight doesent scale with harmony
Also even if it scales the tooltip would still be lower then rapid regen for a self synergy that is only 4m radius and almost impossible to catch in hectic fights

The synergy is instant, you do not need to remain in the Boneyard to recieve the healing over time.

Im unsure what you mean when you compare it to rapid regeneration. I would suggest using both instead of dividing them.

I'm sorry you are uncomfortable with the radius. I'm not, and it depends on what your gameplay style is; The boneyard remains for 10 seconds for you to activate or run back into when it gets hectic in your fights. A DOT, tank and some DPS don't mind staying still for a moment.

After all, it is a heal over time. These are just suggestions.

Of all stuff you mentioned, you still miss out on Intensive Mender, which is ridiculously strong this patch.

As I said, there are many things to use as a variety. I am not going to enlist every idea I've had about it.

As we can see, you already have and that is the point :)

I hope you give it a shot some time. I think you would like it.

Aren't necros already getting self healing from:
    • Scythe
    • Bitter Harvest
    • Render Flesh
    • Life Amid Death
    • Spirit Mender
    • Restoring Tether
    • Boneyard (when an ally activates the synergy)

Also, I find that Unnerving's AoE Major Breach and Fracture are generally more useful than Avid's self-synergy opportunity, which can only be activated every 20 seconds due the the synergy cooldown mechanic.

But, I have contemplated using Twilight Remedy on my Necromancer, I was just going to take it in another direction, which I'm not ready to discuss here until I've played it for a while.

With your Necromancer, by activating your own synergy with Boneyard.

ANOTHER GREAT TIP FOR A SELF HEALING TANK NECROMANCER:

    Straight and simple:

    Earthgore Monster Set
    Juggernaut Heavy Set
    The Phoenix Gear Set

    Ultimates:
    Ravenous Goliath
    Reanimate Morph (optional)

    Suggested Abilities:
    Boneshield
    Death Scythe
    Sanguine Altar
    Regeneration (RestoStaff)
    Deaden Pain
    Beckoning Armor
    Rally (Two Handed)
    Brawler (Two Handed)
    Blessing of Protection (RestoStaff)

    SWORD/SHIELD
RESTORATION STAFF or 2 HANDED WEAPON

Vampire or Werewolf work well to add their self healing abilities!

    Correction.

You do NOT activate the synergy per 20 seconds. It is reduced by half this amount.

Yes. They have self healing abilities. That is why this is a fantastic idea to focus on a self healing concept. Thank you for highlighting those abilities.

Are you saying you can activate the synergy every 10 seconds, and not every 20? That is untrue. There is a 20-second cooldown to activate a synergy of the same type, with Shards and Orbs counting as the same type.

I mean, if you really want to commit to self-heals or something, sure. Not sure what situation this would be useful in (well, solo content, of course).
