Treasure map markers not now working.

Were working an hour ago. At least on the EU server this is an issue. checked with one other person and they had the same issue.

I had signed on to knock some of them out but it doesnt seem to be working. Oh well. Good night.

I always check for updates before i log in. The only thing that changed here is i cleaned out 13 dirty litter boxes and put food and water refills for the outside cats and raccoons.

Make sure you have all the dependency libraries for that AddOn loaded and updated.

Many AddOns don't distribute with the needed libraries anymore since ZOS changed the API.

Are you using the Lost Treasure addon?

There is a bug with it at the moment where the red X's will disappear. To fix it simply bank all your maps then pull them back out. The X's will re-appear.

Try map pins instead. It does lorebooks too.

I used that fix and it worked. A simple copy and paste in the right section of one lua file and its done. You should find that file where you have your add on folder for live version of client [AddOn].

Yes this is correct. I've been having this for awhile now and worked out banking them and looting again does indeed fix it. Really annoying. They do vanish again though if you don't complete the surveys/get the treasure.

Well it kinda defeats the whole point of that add on. The whole point being the red X shows up on the map
And finding treasures and surveys the old way is not that simple. It's actually a real pain in the backside. It's why the add on is so popular.

It seems that Lost Treasure add-on is broken after update 23. I have re-downloaded it & all additional libraries, but the add-on wont show markers on map. Banking & and looting again does not work for me.

For now I am using "Map Pins" add-on. It has identical feature. And oldly - Map Pins works...

My mate had the same issue. It turns out the filter on the right side of the map screen was un-clicked. Seems too simple, but that’s what sorted it for him.

i have map pins installed also.... maybe they are conflicting?

I was able to get the red X's back by changing the settings in the map menu. (press M, then the cone shaped icon at the top, it's one of the possible options to display.)

I use/used the lost treasure add-on that stopped working and do not use the map pins add-on.

For Lost Treasure addon, setting the "show on use" and then using the map itself will mark the map. Currently the Show all in inventory, which is what I had it set to prior, isn't working.

yah i dont want that. i want to see where they are so i can plan my route.
