Cyrodiil is fun, I love it.. but even with you changing combat to aid the server it still seems that your server can't handle it.
IMO work in the backend and work on SCRAPPING Cyrodiil and rebuilding it from the ground up. Have you considered phasing every keep region? Perhaps that could consolidate the lag per keep and not per world? I don't know, but it seems that you've done the following:
- Removed Deer
- Removed AOE Caps
- Removed Lions
- Removed many nodes
- Enhanced (dumbed down) combat to fit the server handling
- the list just goes on...
At this point its safe to say your server architecture isn't that amazing for this game and either it needs to be scrapped or Cyrodiil needs to be redone from the ground up to fix the lag issues within Cyrodiil..
I know it'll cost time and money but it'll pay off with a much happier, less churning community in PVP.
In the past Wrobel was like "We can't redo cyrodiil into phases because its too late." That why I'm suggesting scrapping it and reworking it on another branch until its ready then pushing it to production...
