I don’t think it’s what ZOS is doing, I think it’s what blizzard & everyone else is doing...aka...dying.
ZOS is in a sweet spot where all other games just suck/boredom & so we have an over abundance of players.

i just dont think thats the issue, population has gone down from what it use to be, not as many people in cyrodiil, nor doing group pve content
so you mean to tell us that all these wow players that quit to play eso... decided to only do solo content
it was far easier to find dungeons and raids in the past, sure eso is still a big game, still doubt the performance issues are simply because of new players
A better question would be "what is ZOS not doing that makes lag worse and worse": fixing/maintaining/expanding their server infrastructure...
Every periodic "maintenance" patch makes the lag even worse than before. Logic?????

Active player population is decreasing, they remove unnecessary infrastructure to keep the trend
