Does anyone know of a solid Solo PVE build?

I recommend Briarheart set and 2-3 epic or legendary stamina recovery enchants. With gold weapons, that'll give you enough damage and sustain to get through any solo content, with some nice self-healing added (except the aforementioned exceptions).

Second set depends on whether you want more survivability or more damage, and depends on you, really. Shacklebreaker, Hunding's, Fortified Brass are all craftable and could work

Right now I have on hunting’s and briar heart.

Ancient Dragonguard might be a good replacement for Hunding's

    Not easy to get but...

    5 medium Bahraha's divine trait
Spawn of Mephala (2 heavy or 1 heavy 1 light or 2 medium)
5 Twice Born Star. Jewels with reduced cost glyphs. 3 stam or 1 mag 2 stam. Two mundus are very versatile. WD+Stam, or WD+mitigation or..

Works nice with or without Werewolf. Goes well with Razor Caltrops as debuff and 2nd slowdown.
This is my i-am-a lazy-pack-leader build.

On certain fights you probably want to swap Bahraha for something like Night Terror or any other set supporting the mechanics of a certain fight.

Edit: if no monster set, then TBS, Salvation and Agility weapon/jewels. You can use 3 agility and 4 salvation.

Not completely accurate. This boss can be soloed.
    Major_Lag wrote: »
There's at least 1 world boss who is nearly non-soloable due to his mechanics which require a 2nd player to interrupt the boss (Wuyuvus)
I knew he was soloable all along, I just wasn't able to do that in that attempt - because the build I was using was only capable of a sustained 12-15k DPS at best, not enough to outdamage the huge boss heal during the pin mechanic.

I didn't have a proper vMA build at the time, I do now but haven't tried this again yet.
But based on the DPS numbers I'm seeing on regular dungeon bosses, I doubt that would be enough DPS to kill Wuyuvus in under half an hour.

Bosses like Wuyuvus, Gamyne Bandu, Captain Blackheart, etc. are pretty much the endgame in terms of soloing content.
Those have mechanics which are designed for groups of at least 2 players; yes they are soloable but it's far from straightforward.

I will link several of my self-sufficient builds (dungeons, vMA, overland). They're not optimized for maximum damage but they have all necessary buffs, debuffs, self heals so you only need to use dropped potions. Some are heavy attack based so they have pretty much infinite sustain and they're easy to play. I have soloed most world bosses in the game, including the majority of the DLC areas on them. The stamina NB ones are in bold:

PvP and good solo builds have the same characteristics. Not too squishy, good self healing and damage. Use one of the many pvp builds out there.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
Condemned and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

Briarheart, Bahraha's Curse, Nightflame monster set 5 medium, chest and leg or head heavy. OK damage, but don't go queueing as a -group- DPS with it other than normal dungeons. Bahraha's set definitely triggers Nightflame and I'm reasonably sure briarheart heals will also. You may want to use a couple of health enchants on the big pieces or put a few points in health. Works OK on a werewolf too. As others say, stamblade is probably the weakest/hardest to learn class for what you are trying to do.

Viscous Ophidian with Velidreth (adds weapon damage and you can hit up to 3 different enemies) or Sellistrix (adds stamina and great for hitting a ton of adds and keeping them down) for monster set, Briarheart is nice to throw in the mix.

Werewolf. Though, I imagine it's now more of a challenge on vet since WW was nerfed so hard.

@OP Mag Sorc with Mother's Sorrow, Necropotence, and Iceheart, flying the matriarch for heals (and for drawing some aggro) and with a Prismatic enchant on the heavy helm will solo an awful lot of content quickly. Leeching + Bahraha's and iceheart or (1/2 Chudan + 1/2 Lord Warden) is great for punishing fights but lacks DPS. So, it is poor for soloing bosses that have self-heals or where there are DPS checks in place - the final boss of vet Banished Cells 2, for example.

@ms_sophysticated Following another person's build for SOLOing will keep you from learning the game yourself. I know it is in your original post, that you want it as a guideline, or starting point. But it is imperative you learn what you can do with your nightblade abilities on your own. How they feel when you use them. How the animations look like. What visual hints you have for weaving and how long yor Dots are active etc. And following that, you will quickly learn how to judge set pieces on your own and how useful they are to you and your playstyle.

For example: Briarheart requires you to have high critchance and multiple damage ticks per second. If you don't have that the set underperforms/is useless. Especially in short fights/ trash pulls. Does that stand in the build descriptions?

Besides, most answers here on the forum will tell you to get high end gear with no explanation why or how to get it. So.... You know....

Pale order ring + any two DPS sets. With Pale Order there's little benefit to going defensive as increasing damage directly increases survivability through generating a massive HoT.

For easy to get sets Necro, MS, Julianos for mag or Hundings, Briarhear for stam.

If you have all sets: FG+MS/Medusa; any of VO/Rele/Yandir with AY/Tzgovin.

If skill level is low producing DPS then damage proc sets may be best. Two great AOE DoTs stam options are Aegis Caller and Pillar of Nirn. Stam with Pale order, brawler and those two sets is pretty much invincible.

For Mag AOE DoT sets maybe Auroan and Overwhelming? I haven't tried those in a PvE situation though so can't say how good.

I asked Dottz gaming if he had any solo pve build on his site and he said no, not yet.

I looked on alcasts website and he doesn’t have anything that I’m looking for either.

    @ms_sophysticated:
Actually, Dottz has solo PVE setups at https://dottzgaming.com/category/build/solo-pve/.

I had created a similar thread asking the same question. The conclusion is that there is not one perfect build but guides like Alcast and Dottz can give you an idea as to what they think is a good build. You can tweak it to fit your style. I created my own build using Alcast's guide on how to solo: https://alcasthq.com/eso-how-to-solo-play-guide-elder-scrolls-online and it has worked so far for my style of solo PvE for overland and non-vet dungeon.

I was using a DW/Bow Stamblade while both Dottz and Alcast said 2H is better. So I mixed their existing builds to fit my style and I am satisfied with the results. They may not have what you want but I think it is okay to tweak it to your style of playing.

Magsorc is king for solo, as they can put out damage while healing. Magden is also a good choice if you build a bruiser that can do fairly decent DPS while still being tanky.

Nowadays with Ring of the Pale Order stuff has become much easier. This is my current Stamina DK Arena (vMA & vVH) build:
    http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildData?id=52104
18.5K HP 32.5K Stamina 5.7K weapon damage 57% weapon critical 17K penetration basically infinite sustain even with blue food (consuming trap & VO).

And a variant if you prefer using Weapon Power potions instead of Molten Armaments & Camouflaged Hunter
    http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildData?id=291824
Almost the same stats, but higher resistance & mitigation, slightly lower weapon damage and no Minor Berserk.
