Best Werewolf Class?

What's the best Werewolf class and why?

I'm making a new orc character to make a vMA WW build, but i'm not totally sure what class would work best for vMA. Nightblades seem to have great sustain (+15% recovery for all three resources), Dk's seem to have the best tankiness, Sorcs seem to have the best damage. So really not sure. I was initially going to do it as a Warden but now that seems like a bad idea.

I have three ww's - Stamplar, Stamblade, and StamDK. All three have earned "Stormproof" in vMA (still working towards Flawless Conqueror, but I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks---no pun intended). My Stamblade ww had the easiest time of it- and I swapped the same gear sets among the three.

I attribute the stamblade doing slightly better mainly to my playing style, but NB has passives that increase crit potential (Assassination skill line). I seemed to land more high damage light attacks with Stamblade in ww form than with Stamplar or Stam DK in ww form. There are so many factors that come into play though, so really it's a matter of personal preference.

I used Bloodmoon, Agility 3 pc, Master 2H and vMA bow with Veledreth Monster set for all three. I kept WW ult on 2h bar and Dawnbreaker on my bow bar. I also found it beneficial to transform back into human form for some stages, and to hold off on my ww transformation until last boss - as feeding can sometimes be problematic.

answering that question is all about the class passives. Sorc & temp had the best passives pre-elsywer. Necro might be a good one too though, especially with rapid rot.

Yeah Stamblade seems to be the best from what i can tell. Unfortunately i dont enjoy the Nightblade playstyle (i'm a magica sorc main), and a nightblade orc also doesnt make alot of sense lore-wise imo, since orcs are more brutish berserkers. I was building a Khajiit for this, but the orc has that great weapon damage buff.

So i guess i gotta just bite the silver bullet and make a WW orc (not a fan of orcs personally) AND make it a nightblade... yay lol.

My DK ww is a Redguard, but he did almost as well as my NB werewolf. Score-wise they were pretty close. So really, you should make whatever class you like playing. Orcs are pretty awesome DK's. Orcs can also be NB's and well within the lore. Orc assassin's aren't heard of as much, because they're good at what they do.

I'm gonna say Warden, simply because that way every single class has now been named.
Nobody cares about your endless list of terribly-named characters.

The sustain from NB looks amazing but yeah, i definitely prefer the playstyle of DK or Sorc. Thanks for the advice tho, i'll look into it.

Ah the ages old question :)

Can't say i have much vma experience myself (i'm allergic to pve) but i always found a dragonknight to be a great werewolf, because the act of transformation also basically resets the fight - a DK gets resources back when using an ultimate based on its cost, and WW transformation is one of the most expensive ults - which basically means, transform and you get full resources. Turned quite a few fights in cyrodiil around for me.

idk the best, but the worst is warden .. 0 passives to assist in wolf form.

Sorc dose have some good passives
DK and templar and good for blocking and damage mitigation
    NB good for ulti regen..

I have a DC Redguard StamDK WW, but it is currently my least-played character (aside from the new Necro) and I have yet to find a satisfying build and playstyle for my WW DK.

My DC Redguard DK WW is currently using 2/2 Blood Spawn, 5/5 Warrior Poet (body pieces), and 5/5 Bone Pirate (Weapons/Jewelry). 32 Health and 32 Stamina. S&B and 2H bars.
My DC Redguard DK WW is currently more of a tanky build than I was going for, but I already have a DPS Dark Elf StamDK on EP, though it doesn't utilize WW, however.

    Current bars:
S&B bar: 1: Pierce Armor, 2: Igneous Shield, 3: Absorb Missile, 4: Green Dragon Blood, 5: Hardened Armor: Ulti: Magma Shell
2H bar: 1: Dizzying Swing, 2: Reverse Slice, 3: Stampede, 4: Camouflaged Hunter, 5: Rally, Ulti: Werewolf Berserker (Or Shifting Standard)
WW bar: 1: Brutal Pounce, 2: Hircine's Rage, 3: Deafening Roar, 4: Howl of Despair, 5: Claws of Life, Ulti: Werewolf Berserker

Feel free to copy/edit/critique, or whatever.
I'm open to new ideas if anyone is willing to share.

Yes... I was just pointing out that a lot of opinions you read on this might not be accounting for necro or other changes. That rapid rot could have a huge impact on werewolf bleeds. All those opinions on sorc being best, or even temp, might not be considering that because it hasn't been theorycrafted out yet. Also I bleeds have been reworked to be more of a standard physical dot, so we're still waiting to see how that shakes out.
