Streak stuns me

Me, the caster. Been happening for awhile on occasion, but more so this patch. I streak in a bg, and I get stunned by my own streak instead of going anywhere. Anyone else have this issue?

No, never got this issue (I used streak for years).

Are you sure other player wasn't near you so s/he stunned you at the same time?

He wasnt talking about a true stun. What the actual bug is: you appear to be rooted, but cannot break free or roll dodge out of it. It is caused by hitting an object in your streak path, or streaking over odd terrain (such as the upper level of any tunnel)

^ I use streak regularly when walking in the cities, overland, delves, etc. to speed up. Never I got that issue.

If you streak towards an obstacle with an enemy behind it in range of the streak, you will get locked in place for several seconds every time. While you do not move on your screen, the server considers your location at the end point of the streak during this time.

It's that way since they fixed Streak damaging enemies behind the obstacles. It's extremely annoying.

This is one of the major sorcerer PvP bugs and it has been in the game for months, happening every day.

If you haven't yet experienced it, don't comment on it as your post is completely worthless and does nothing to push this issue

Happened to me 3 times in a row in a single fight. I couldn't break free and couldn't dodge roll it. It made streak completely useless to me since it was causing my death almost every fight instead of helping.

actually, the only completely worthless comment here is yours. if you're having a bad day, go punsh a bible or somthing but don't take it out on other ppl.

and the decision whether a comment is worthless or not is not yours to make anyways. so the next time you feel the need to vomit your imagined self-importance all over the forums by policing other ppls posts, remember - no one cares!

Actually, I care that people like yourself are here trying to white knight the forums instead of actually acknowledging broken abilities.




The streak bug has made me morph to “Ball of Lightning” instead. (I’d rather use streak but it’s given me countless deaths). Also fix the bug of hard casting a frag immediately after casting a procced frag!

Interestingly, I've run into the dreaded Streak bug in Direfrost Keep, in the room with 2 pressure plates.
Trying to streak in that room results in the player character getting "fake rooted" and moving nowhere.
Haven't tried this with BoL morph, but I guess it would behave the same.

At first I thought that it was supposed to be a "fix" for being able to solo the dungeon by streaking to the other pressure plate, but nope - the other "feature" of the dungeon that allows soloing it, is still very much untouched.

I agree, i finally found what you mean when one enemy player was stuck on the wall - trying to streak him, my streak was cut short and I was stunned for 1-2sec, without any explanation. Every time I tried that, the same happened.

Yep it’s been stunning me for a long time and I reported it also.

This is a known issue ZOS will take approx. 1-2 years to fix. Just go into any pvp tower and streak and your stuck, but it also happens on land and really all over the place.

Yep, ball of lightning seems to work fine but streak will keep me in place for a second or two at times after I use it instead of streaking me forward.
