Is everyone happy about magsorc now?

Is everyone happy now? Genuinely the class just died for me its the weakest pvp class in game i think. What could literally be worse? We have no valid cc. Sustain is hurt. what more could they take from us? Its never ending i see what ZoS is doing they want cyro to be all stamina versions of each class minus healers they want literal healers in there but no magicka dps what so ever they could care less about us. The damn ratio is already 5:1 nearly for Stam to mag players maybe even more. This sucks i want to hear other opinions.

I’m not very good at pvp so here’s my advice: Build for Ultimate gen and drop that dumb rock baby over and over. Stack single target dots like the soul skill. Kill steal, I mean, mages wrath over and over until dead. You’re bound to get kills that way. It’s not that hard.

I'm actually in the middle of theory crafting a sorc for when the patch lands on console. I have a stamsorc, but have only dabbled with magsorcs over the years (not especially fond of pets, it's why my wardens have languished for so long). So far, I'm liking the possibilities for non-pet, especially for PVP.

No. But I don't PvP and I play what I think is fun (petsorc). So I'm kinda devastated, TBH.

No. Stam DKs are the strongest by far. They are unkillable 1v1 and can kill anything.

You could only get these numbers by building for Overload only and then getting lucky with off-balance proc. It's not sustainable.

And that come from a class with a ranged and close Range stun which you can't block.

No, I am not happy.

I only ever do PvE and I find the fact that the constant attempting to achieve this mythical "PvP balance" seriously affects my PvE playstyle, usually in a negative way, quite unenjoyable.

You forgot, THE sorcery class not having access to major sorcery in our toolkit lol.

And the non class cc we were using gets nerfed.

Two slot class heal...

And we all running resistances cos of ward changes.

Like, we'll adapt, it will be fine as always, but it won't be fun.

Sorcs are still good. You just have to l2p now, spamming 2 buttons is not gonna do it anymore.

No way lol. They may be good but they’re not the strongest. No I don’t play one (anymore). 1v1 they are up there but they do lack a bit of burst damage to 1vX. Also since the SB nerfs they’re less prevalent.

And to OP mag sorcs are definitely not the worst PvP class. They just went from being tankier than most stamina classes with big burst damage and broken pet mechanics to being toned down to more normal levels.

I really just dont want to even play magsorc or the game anymore

its just not fun anymore. Doesnt have a unique flavor to it anymore. Doesnt do anything really well.

I'm unhappy only because they cancelled the entropy's 8% hp buff, so my pve sorc tank no longer can have 60k hp.
But it's still a good tank, since the undaunted damageshield gives now over 20k on this one.
So still happy.
