Question about game pass

I got eso a while ago on Xbox one with game pass then brought Summerset and now Elsweyr yet it says I need game pass to play the game? Why? I keep my Xbox live sun and eso sub on do I really have to pay for fkin game pass aswell like wtf? It just cut me out the game mid way thru battle

✭✭✭✭✭You have to buy the games you had access to if you want to keep playing them after your Game Pass stops. The versions of Summerset and Elsweyr that you got must be the upgrades, which are like DLC that require the base game to play, as Oakmontowls said.
If you don’t see an option to buy it from the Xbox Store as a one-time payment (not through Game Pass), contact Support for help.0 -

you clearly just purchased the upgrade, which no does not include the base game. The base game is often on sale for $10, just pick it up at that cheap price. Or just buy game pass again, it's pretty cheap if you're already paying for XBL Gold which you need to play online anyway.0 -

✭✭At this point eso console should move to f2p, that way players won't need xbox gold or ps plus to play.
Tera, dcuo, startrek, etc...all playable w/o console sub, & players can sub to their mmo of choice instead

It was over 100 dollars so that was just an upgrade ? Damn ZoS I just renewed my game pass sadly I’ll buy the game Again before this month ends I suppose 🤬
