Skyreach Catacombs Runs - Worth It?

I see alot of people advertising Skyreach runs to help people gain xp. But everyone is charging upwards of 5-7k gold per run. I assume this means 5-7k+ per loop around the map?
I'm wondering how much XP this actually is, and if its even worth doing. I currently have a Nightblade at lvl 50 but i wanna level some of their skill lines, but to do so requires me to use kindof a crappy build until i unlock the abilities i want. I was thinking about doing a few runs of Skyreach to help with this but idk how effective that would be.
Also, how does XP sharing within a group work? Does any kill made by a group member give everyone the XP? Or does every member have to deal damage to gain the XP? Cuz atm my build doesnt include AoEs while i level my skill trees.

✭✭✭✭Just do master writs. Slot skills you want to level on to the active bar at hand in time. You'll level up skill lines real fast.
If you're patient wait until the next double xp event and consume a 150% xp scroll/drink, and watch your levels fly up as well.0 -

Yeah i tried that but the character i'm trying to level doesnt have maxed crafting passives so it wouldnt let me even open them on that character. Spend a while mowing through writs only to be told i couldnt use them on my alt.0 -
Hashtag_✭✭✭✭✭3-50 is like 1.5-2.illion gold or more for writs

That's around how much a 2-voucher Alchemy/Enchanting writ is now on PC(NA).
Easier and faster and no wasted time asking in zone. Do writs.
TIME is worth more than in-game gold.

I cant. That's what i said before. I'm leveling a Nightblade and the abilities/skill lines i'm trying to level arent enough to make me tanky enough to survive or have enough DPS and AoE to deal with that many enemies.0
