PC-EU server really bad shape after update

Logged in to do some rotation test for the new patch and because of lag weaving and synergy taking is pretty much a gamble. Not even prime time and I used to do test on my house dummy without any lag problems. Any of u experience similar behaviour? also ping is pretty high, much higher than normal? Did u feed the hamster ZOS?
