Magicka races with stam classes in PvP

I've always had the problem wanting to play magicka races with stam builds and I ended up having to choose Bosmer for pve main to not regret anything endgame. However for pvp I'm kind of insistent to play an Altmer this time. I think a lot can be compensated with skills and extra magicka would help with cloak in ganking. Anyone else playing stamnb with a magicka race in pvp? Do you think it's causing major disadvantages especially as you get higher mmr?

Ive done the opposite- imperial melee magplar. I love it- dodge rolling all over and basically playing like a Stam class but with the big self heals of a magicka class. I think your idea could have advantages too, depending on your set up.

I have an altmer stamplar that does surprisingly well in battlegrounds tbh.

Well that's a lot different than what I'm doing but good to hear it's working for you. I'm going to use non-hybrid stamina playstyle with appropriate weapons, gear, skills and attributes. No mixing other than racial passives. I guess I'll try it myself and see

i played dark elf stamblade for 2 years before racial rebalance. and it was pretty good. pvp is versatile, you dont have to be stuck on one race.

Its definitely an in between "well." He can hold his own and manage to score kills, but he's definitely not leading the pack in terms of kills (or deaths for that matter). Maybe that's saying something about my own skill level, but nevertheless he's quite good at what he manages to do.
