Bow Damage vs Sword Damage

Why does my legendary bow only do 1335 dmg and my Epic sword also do 1335 dmg?

The bow is 160cp on my 160cp character, and the sword is lvl 20 on a lvl 20 character.

on my bow character it says normal swords and bows have same damage so why is there a difference?

Are bows supposed to have less damage than other weapons?

You level 20 character is getting battle leveling that your cp160 toon is not getting.

im not talking about overall weapon damage as seen on character sheet, I am talking about the damage the weapon says when you scroll over it. From what I understand since they are both using level appropriate weapons that shouldn't matter.

You understand wrong. Check out what percent major brutality gives that level 20 character. Hint; it's above 20%.

It does matter. All weapons under 50 are actually scale higher then the final 1335 that all but 2h gets. It does this to make up for passive/active ablitys you don't yet have.

Yeah bows and staffs have less WD/SD than melee weapons
