If they got rid of double XP for this event, then why wouldn't they change the drop rates on other items?

No we were not able to determine the droprate. What I know about the droprate is what we had from runs last year. All I know is that it does drop but not for everyone and that it turned out to be far easier to focus on sales and buy the motifs toward the end of the event.

As to XP I cannot recall that there were XP boosts linked to this event last year.

I'd be very happy to be proven wrong. I rarely get motif drops, so I only ever buy them.

One day I hope to be that lucky. It’s better to do them outside of the festival so you aren’t waiting for boss spawns I think.

Don't sweat the h8rs, please feel free to share quality info or questions so we can improve the guide, this is after all a discussion document and the communities input is greatly appreciated and acted on. I am actually in the process of putting together a couple of these that can just be updated each year. With collective input and discussion something good and worthwile will emerge.

I have had lots of private feedback that the infographics on where the quest givers are has really made a difference to players who are at best casual questers and normally lost without VERY clear info and pics on what to do.

Ps: Ran Orsinium again last night and got 1 drop from 5 Pub D bosses and 1 drop form 4 world Bosses so the drop rate is actually quite good.

I just cannot seem to find a solution to solve the irritation factor to rescue the some npc's that gets their captors killed too quickly for one of the world boss quests. Best I could come up with is to put down AOE.
