How I’d Like To See Patches Implemented
ZOS is probably never going to shift to an incremental adjustment schedule but I would like to see some sort of compromise. To this end I think it would make sense to have the PTS cycle and then a one week live period after which a final set of changes would be patched in. This would allow us time to really see how things functioned like the major expedition on shuffle or vigor prior to the nerfs today. The problem right now is that any testing takes place in a vacuum and people tend to look at tooltips as apposed to actual function (especially where PvP is concerned) because outside of duels there really isn’t any way to test. The real difficulty here is that ZOS would have to really gather feedback from people who can show evidence of something over or under performing. But I still think this would be better than finalizing all changes before any live testing and then closing the case for another six months or potentially indefinitely.
