Killing Crystals but cant drop down rd 9 vMA

This happened on consecutive days now. I kill all three crystals and then can not drop down on final boss vma. Through trial and error it is possible to dps the boss from up top and all the bottom mechanics dont appear. All that is needed is to hide behind the wall occasionally. It is actually much easier. However it ruined a few flawless attempts working out that once the crystals are destroyed I could just dps the boss rather than try and jump down and have to kill stuff to port up again.

The arena, usually has poor performance and bugs for me from Oceania, however it is unusually bad at the moment for lag, performance and stuff not working properly. Oh it must be time for the Wrothgar event.

I wouldn’t have posted the video here. ZOS will probably close this thread. I know your intentions are good but this could be something that gets exploited by others. I would if I were you remove the video

He's not showing a way to exploit. He's not doing anything wrong, the game is glitching and not triggering the mechanics of the fight properly. He's showing that he kills the crystals and doesn't get knocked back to fall of the top like its supposed to do. When he says "hide behind a wall" he's referring to the moving wall you have to hide behind as it goes around the circle. The boss kept doing that mechanic even though the crystals were gone, and the clanfear still appeared below to open the portal back up top.

No, he's losing health... until the crystals are down. Then it stops, which would lead me to think that the game just thinks that they're down below except that the guardian is still down there. Weird stuff... fascinating.

The only thing I can think of is that the Necromancer pet/skills are inadvertently causing unexpected behavior. Sorta like in Fang Lair where Sorc Pets would cause the 1st boss to constantly reset, I have this eerie feeling the Necromancer is somewhat responsible (ultimately ZoS is, but you get the point).

This happened to me once also in Maelstrom about a month ago.

It’s a bug and needs to be fixed.

Be sure to send an in-game bug ticket, too, @GlorphNoldorin.

On my necromancer, I had a similar experience in the ice stage.

I killed the matriarch, but I didn't get a portal to the next stage. Instead, every now and then a troll would spawn.

I can highly recommend to do vma on Necro. The strangest things might happen.

In general, the last few weeks I've found vma in a terrible condition, more lag and strange behavior than I've ever experienced before. Enemies spawning at the wrong places, teleporting bosses, stuff like described above or described by the OP... It's a good time for the Orsinium event! It will be fun!

I did it on my WW warden and on last stage i ahd 4 wolves adds hitting boss. Sometimes bugs dont hurt

Yet to see similar behavior on non necro, as I remember correctly this problem came with elsweyr and only saw reports from necro runs, had it every run myself.
