Not sure if this has been posted before as I did do a search for this topic but was unsuccessful in finding any results. But I was curious as to why there isn't any combat pets we can purchase? I know there is tons of non-combat pets but they are only good for is a staring contest. The only other way to get one is to be a Sorceror or Warden. Under water combat would also be a bonus to this wonderful game, I know thats taking ideas from other popular games but who cares :p

The only combat pets are skills specific to certain classes and item sets.

Purchasable combat pets is undisputed pay-to-win. Only way around that is to make them all function identically, so you can get the dwemer spider base game and do the same as someone who purchased.

    No comment on underwater stuff.

Part of the reason i chose to main a warden when they came out was because it looked like they were going to release a bunch of new skins for the bear, we even have the grey bear skin in its own "specials" tab

Pet Skins are one of my most hoped for things in ESO - there have been many forum posts about it.

But yea.. sorc or warden is the only pet class.. unless you count night-blade shade as well.

Underwater combat has not really been a thing since Morrowind. We kind of had it in Oblivion, we could kill things that were in the water in Skyrim, but I think part of them had to be above water, don't remember exactly. But Morrowind was the last to offer it as a real gameplay option.

This engine will not support underwater combat. Don't even know if it could support underwater movement.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

The last game I remember that had real underwater combat was EverQuest. They had entire underwater dungeons. If your water breathing buff wore off, dead in 30 seconds. You had to stock up on fish scales as the reagent for the water breathing buff.

wow did it fairly recently as well. I remember there was a zone where you swam the entire time. Made me want to shoot someone because you can only stare are so many corals before realizing water zones are boring lol.

I remember that zone, it was interesting at first but that wore off quick.

I just want the game to work properly and for ESO devs to fix regular combat, like in Cyrodiil. I don't even want underwater zones or flying in zones like WoW or GW2 or FF14 has.

No reason to be harsh, I've only made a simple suggestion, and YES I did play GW2 and FISNISHED IT so I am done with that. Don't like what I have to say, please move on, I'm done. Not like I'm asking to add WoW content into the game, but sure seems like we got the rude WoW players into ESO. :/

Before asking for those features I prefer a thousand times they buy new servers.
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

Everquest was awesome for that, but I still have this image in my mind that this poor girl player who jumped into the water, couldn't figure how to get out so next thing you heard was BLUB BLUB...GURGLE...and a body floating to the top.
