Hmmm, this armadillo lizard looks like, well, sort of a living ESO ouroboros ^^.

Armadillo Lizard =/= Armadillo

However, considering that the Armadillo Girdled Lizard is properly called the Ouroborus cataphractus, it would be extremely appropriate to have one as a pet in game. It could curl up and bite its tail when your character stops and idles, as one of its animations.

I don't know why Durzogs haven't been added as a pet yet. they share the same model skeleton as wolves so it would be stupid-easy to apply animations to them.

I'd like to see the Great Dane return. I'm a newer player to ESO, I missed the opportunity to get a Great Dane (Whenever that was). I do not see any way of getting one at this point in time.

Pssst. A Durzog pet was recently datamined, so there is hope! (I've wanted one for a long time, too. It's right up there with "Wamasu mount" as far as I'm concerned.)
