Balancing or making balanced?

For the longest time I thought this game was balanced in a rock paper scissors kind of way. Mag dk beats stamblade, stamblade beats mag sorc, mag sorc beats mag dk. But here recently lots of changes and terms have given me the opposite idea. Terms like streamline, standardized, homogenize all boil down to meaning one thing. "One in the same" But the confusion comes in when adding necro with spammable major defile. Warden with major heroism. If everything being streamlined. Then shouldn't everyone have defile fracture breech maim heroism. Everyone gets a fear everyone gets a streak everyone gets a pet. I don't like the idea at all but this isn't my game to decide what should and should not be.

But my question is. Is this game heading that way? The way of everyone has access to same majors and minors and every skills has the same base but different animation. I.e. dizzying swing and crystal frags. Wings and shimmering shield. Or is it still going to play as a rock paper scissors balance?

Side note: Even patch by patch balance where mag has a slight advantage one patch and stam has a slight advantage the next is better than making every class dull and lacking in uniqueness. #revertulticasttime

This thread has way to low attention. But it will, once they will start to give away all other classes iconic moves.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

Rock-paper-scissors style balancing is stupid. Every class should be able to beat every other class if played properly. Player skill should matter more than any other factor. With that in mind, "balancing" classes by making everyone the same is boring and lazy. Not entirely sure that's really where this game is headed, though.
Nobody cares about your endless list of terribly-named characters.

The Rock Paper Scissors balance hasn't been definite. In the example i used for instance mag dk vs stamblade. At the highest tiers comes down to skill. But for the most part both mag dk and stamblade are an uneven matchup. mag dk is the bane for natural reasons. Most stamblade are vamp. Most stamblades need to be mobile to survive. Stamblades don't fair under constant pressure(dots and burst). So the same situation goes with stamplar verse stamblade. Stamplar pressure snare w jab along with cleanse makes them a very frustrating fight. So that's what I mean by rock paper scissors.

Side Note: 5.1.3 is out and no change to ulti cast times. Looks like were in for a rough one boys. #revertthecast #iearnedmyulti #lemmeatem

Exactly. It's not like rock-paper-scissors is definitive, just some matchups are easier than other, but it doesn't mean it is impossible to beat a rock with scissors. We need those flavours that make each fight distinct.
