    Not necessarily in any order:

    Dressing Room
    Combat Metrics
    Mini Map
    Constellations
    Code’s Combat Alerts
Azurah (for moving stock UI around)
    Lost Treasure
    Skyshards
    Lui Extended
    Srendarr

I left out the crafting ones. Some of these are most useful for specific characters. Dressing Room is great for tanks to quickly change to dps gear. Srendarr is pretty much for dps chars. Combat metrics is primarily a dps tool as well.

I have only three installed: Map Pins, Lost Treasure and Pet dismiss. Couldn't play without them.

    My "must have" selection:

    Action Duration Reminder
    Advanced Filters - Updated
    Azurah
    Combat Metrics
    Constellations
DarkUI (it's a purely visual and no added functions, but looks much better than the stock visual)
    Easy Travel
    Map Pins
    Urich's Skill point Finder
    Votan's Keybinder

Also depending on which extended UI you choosing, if that has no minimap then you need one:
    Votan's Minimap

I use a version of Alphagear rather than Dressing Room. Thoughts comparing the two?

I still use Lorebooks, and also have another add-on (I forget which) also showing lorebook locations. I think two is a little better than one in this case. :) (Reason: Many lorebooks have up to four possible locations.)

I've recently noticed Harvest Maps working somewhat like Keen Eye passives, and only showing nodes that are currently present.

I just downloaded Custom Idle Animations, and it's fun. :)

    NONE!

Play the game as the Divines... errr, the developers intended! Yes, even on PC!

(Personally I just find it more fun when you play yourself instead of letting add-ons show you where to go, what to do, etc.)

I would agree if the UI was beautiful, and intuitif. BUT it's not.

i use addons that correct the UI and bring some visual quality to the UI, allowing me to see distinctly icons, skills to speak only of those :)

I don't use many and most of them were already mentioned.
Here's something if you're into housing:
Essential Housing Tools: much more precise placement. It's such a pain to place things without it. Also adds many additional functions.
Furniture Catalogue: tells you if any of your characters knows the crafting plan you just found.

    Potion Maker for Alchemy Crafting

I, as an addon dev, say: I don't ask for add-ons and use them.

You don't know what is built-in and what is from an add-on. You don't know the pain why you need an add-on.
First play without add-ons. If you feel the pain, use the search button. (And remember the recommentations here)

As I posted above, Harvest Map has seemed to me recently to be working that way. But it may be that you need to harvest a node once yourself before the add-on points it out the next time.

Yes, it does. And you need to download a shared data file or collect the resources by yourself.
