Need to Keep Quest Trophy Books?

Do I need to keep a book like Litany of Blood or Psijic Codex Transcription to gather those items or are they just filling my bag for no reason? I would delete them since I can easily find the information otherwise, but I don't want to do that and mess up the related quest.

They should be in the "quest items" list however and they should not take up bag space!

I can't tell if Litany of Blood work the same way as Psijic Codex, but I have been able to find those special chests in Summerset and put those items in Vault of Moawita where they belong (same place where you found that book). Just make sure that you "use" book before you remove it from inventory. It is to transfer information to your library where you later can read books content.

The main point with all those items is to fill up your inventory as most people will probably to not remove this kind of items until player have finished quest or even have forgotten about it and therefore feel pressure to go all out on storage chests, bank upgrades etc to have enough space for other useable items that get through quests, loot or from rewards in game.

As I described above, you only need to read it once to get content into your Journals library where you can read all MG books and documents found in Tamriel. Both books are more meant to give clues to where to find object or target, then necessary for quest or achievement by themselves.
