As a console player I'm limited. I've tried most of the ones available and can tell you that ESO is the best that console has to offer (Xbox at least).
If they got rid of ESO on consoles, they could shove my account where it's dark and foul-smelling.

Well, Im playing ESO on PC and imo its best MMO gamewise and community wise (not counting the issues I first mentioned), if you like the genre being "realistic" rather than Tera/WoW style. Its kind of bummer if you play it on console only because theres no better ones though. In that case you would be disappointed with most other MMO:s I can tell you that.
ESO is been well known for having the worst ability to fix things or develop things in general (example : same mount models with recolor=boom new mount). We know it is because of lack of resources at ZoS:s end. Well now I have a solution for that. End updates on PS and XBOX. Offer those people free character transfer to PC (yes I know theres no mechanism now, heres how you do it: download all character data, and upload back on PC server character template). Sort the licence things out with Steam. The cost of that is miniscule compared to cost of upkeeping such big enviroment.
This will bring better game experience for 90% of population.

Lack of resources pffff...

I'd love to see it on PC so long as it has a native Linux client of course as I'd never consider spending money there on anything which requires me having to faff around and still not be supported.

Black Desert runs fine on my console, and I have the regular xbox one. You are assuming they do not have the resources, it just comes down to cheaping out and selling out the actual fans. I am pretty sure most xbox players getting a gaming pc are not gonna pick eso lmao. As it stands Zenimax got greedy and did a *** poor console port.

Its not a voting issue where comes what. But best solution for 90% as I said. You can play ESO on Linux now besides with Volcan or?
