VMA stage 7

So I’m an experienced player in VMA. However there is 1 mechanic I can NEVER figure out how to avoid: the Argonian Behemoth’s Vicious Bite w/ the 10s bleed.
When he stuns you you break free. Every time I do, no matter what I try...I ALWAYS get hit by the bite/bleed. Of course Wardens can cleanse this, but how in the name of the Mundus do you avoid this?!?!

You either block cancel abilities when he tries to stun you, or you have to break free the very moment he does a stun, which has to be perfectly timed

yes, you can see he is about to stun you or at least predict the time he is about to, and if you break free fast enough he doesn't debuff u

I dunno really. I used to get minced by the bleed every time, to the point I even slotted purge at one point. But now I just burn through, I certainly don't make any attempt to block - maybe I do it automatically. I guess it's a case of having enough healing and resistances to get through it. I usually have vigor and Briarheart for stam VMA though so as long as I'm offensive the bleed isn't a problem, even when stuck under the shield.

I guess it would be more of a problem if I was going for high scores, but if I were good enough to go for high scores I don't think the bleed would be a priority.

This is the correct answer. The bleed comes roughly a second after he stuns you. If you do not end your break free animation before his bite attack lands, you will get the bleed.

You can do a few things for this, but the easiest if you have good ping is spam CC break. If not, you *could* run immovable skill or pots, but tbh that's way overkill and would be harder than either kiting or CC breaking.
