✭✭What? No...I mean as neat as it would be for the PvPers....they make up a very, very small fraction of the overall playerbase, to the point where if this was implmented the population for the day would drop by about 98-99%43 -

I've had enough of being ganked by someone who thinks they're so cool because they can corner someone with a PvE build who is in no position to fight back (like just as they finish a difficult fight with a boss and all their skills are on cool down) and kill them...only to run a mile if anyone who looks remotely more prepared comes in sight because they know they don't stand a chance in an actual fight.
From previous experience with games like Ultima Online which made open-world free for all PvP available but optional (in that case by having 2 copies of the world map, one with PvP and one without) the biggest challenge is finding anyone to fight. The idea appeals to gankers but they're not looking for an actual fight, just easy loot, so they avoid each other and if everyone else can avoid them you get a dead map.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

However, fair's fair. If there were to be a Purge Day foisted upon PvE world, then there should also be a World Peace Day for one day in Cyrodiil where attacks do nothing. If you want a day to gank PvE players in their world, then we should get a free day to go do skyshards/delves/dolmens/fishing with no fear in Cyrodiil.

✭Yes, I must purge!The only type of Purge I want is to remove old user accounts and data from the databases. This would be a step in the right direction to help performance. I cant even imagine how much data is stored on their servers with how many fake accounts are made to bot (and in the past when you could make accounts to get the gold turn in before the shut that down), and just the people who played for a month or two years ago that ZoS has to keep their data stored in case they do come back. Purge it!

That at least proved that the entire myth that 99% people doesn't PvP was absolute BS.9 -

You do realize that most of the pve avoid pvp like its weaponized ebola players wouldn't actually be anywhere in the game that day, right? The people who tried to do the town quests during the event had no choice because "event". If open world pvp everywhere was the rule, the ones who didn't want to deal with it would simply not log in.
Why someone who wants to "pvp" intentionally goes after players who aren't built or geared for pvp I don't understand. Why someone who wants to pvp intends to grief unprepared players I totally understand, and its that type of attitude that makes me say never to pvp.19
