Horde Mode suggestion

I've kinda been itching for a horde mode for PvE, to face off against waves and try to survive as much as i can. Not the typical waves of three or four at a time. I want dozens to come. Mobs with increasing health pools and more sporadic ability use.

Not like vMA, that place is just mean.

These things always sound like a lot more fun than they are in reality in my experience. That said, I'd probably try it for shiggles :D

I can see the potential appeal of such a thing. Though it would be even more fun if the mode removed all aoe caps. Then it'd be a spectacle.

Some craglorn world bosses are like that, therefore it exists in game. Also vMA totally answers your request as well, and normal is a walk in the park, so no idea what do you even want

I think he's asking for DiabloXEso.You know, where there are just swarms of enemies that steadily grow stronger with each passing wave, while having no hard cap on the difficulty. It will test your ability to cheese to the absolute limit. I am kinda curious how such a thing might work in ESO, now that I think of it.

Something like DSA I would guess but with the lack of restrictions and one big arena. It cant be as small as BRP otherwise it would just be too messy to enjoy.

There would need to be reward tiers for if you survive X or Y and so fourth and you would get all prior rewards so say You survive A, B , C, D, E, F, G , H (loot pools) then you would get said loot pools when you finally wipe or run out of revives/retries. As the enemies become stronger the rewards become better. At some point however the loot pool would need to be capped because the system could be exploited heavily depending on the rewards to the point where it actually might be bad for the game because in a mode the rewards cannot and should not exceed the base limits of reason for the economy or other content. In other words it cannot be allowed to break the economy or make other content irrelevant.

if gear can be acquired from there that gear must not have a stupidly high accessibility ratio as well otherwise it would only be fun for the best players in the game which honestly would suck for the majority and it would just be dead content. It needs to be balanced properly if they were to do it. Perhaps and achievement, skin and then maybe 100k gold or something if you survive beyond what is expected but that would need to be REALLY far in the deep end of rewards it cannot be easy whatsoever if that were to occur.

Elite sanctuary onslaught with leaderboards (without a timer) like warframe would be cool.

    Absolutely.

The closest we have is the various arenas, but these are not really horde mode are they. I would absolutely love a genuine horde mode, much like COD Black Ops Zombie content has. Imagine defending a castle area against wave after wave of increasingly difficult adds and bosses, it would be great fun with your mates.

It would not actually be difficult to implement at all, every mechanic required already exists within the game, it would just be a case of bringing these together to create a new "dungeon" type.

Give us a cyrodiil where players need to defeat the waves of daedric enemies that are invading tamriel. Bosses with 1 billion health and Adds all over the place pouring out of portals.
