Minion Issues

Hey everyone I'm having issues with 3 addons. I have downloaded all necessary addons but for some reason I'm getting a DEPENDENCY issue ; below is what it says I'm missing but I've already downloaded the required addons.

1.) Destinations- CustomCompassPins and LibStub

2.) Lorebooks - CustomCompassPins and LibCustomMenu

3.) Skyshards - CustomCompassPins

I don't know whats wrong any help would be much appreciated.

I've seen where the ESO addons menu will list dependencies, but then when you look up more information on the addons at ESOUI (or the information from there that Minion displays, there may be additional dependencies to install.

Also, if ESO is running, make sure to do /reloadui after installing any addons and dependencies. They scripts aren't read and loaded until the UI reloads or starts up for a session. That being said, it won't hurt to completely quit ESO and re-start it, just in case it's being stubborn.

I've actually done that reloaded UI and quit the game but no luck I don't know why its doing this...

If you have Minion, search for the libraries you listed and download them. If you don't have Minion you can probably search for those on the ESOUI website, download and install them in the same folder you have your addons.

There was another topic about the latest Lorebooks and Skyshards not working properly for those that do NOT have Elsweyr.

I always dl and install ESO add-ons manually, and keep a previous version.
For me Lorebooks 15.4 and Skyshards 10.14 did not work.
So, i re-installed Lorebooks 14.2 and Skyshards 10.11
I did have to install CustomCompassPins (version 1.29 i have now)

Well I don't know about these AddOns, but I know a lot about dependencies (DLL dependency hell for any of my fellow developers). Have you actually downloaded CustomCompassPins, LibStub, and LibCustomMenu?

Yeah, with Elsweyr the functioning of Libraries has changed apparently.
U now may have to seperately install needed Libraries.

(this i read about in the add-on section on this forum)

It might help to right click on each Add on that you have listed to get a list of options. Use delete Save Variables as it could be that there is something in those text files (saved setting for that each add on make use) that isn't pointing to Libraries (dependency). There is also some changes that came with Elsweyr that made older add ons not work correctly which also might have an impact depending if you have Elsweyr chapter or DLCs that might change version number and other thing that add on need to work with game engine (patch manifest).

And make sure you have those libs activated. Double check everything.

if in doubt, uninstall the addon completely (delete the folder from your addons folder), and reinstall each of those addons. Check that you have a folder in the addons folder for each of the listed dependencies too.

I Figured it out guys some of the files were not downloading to the documents as soon as I copied the files from the C drive to the Documents>ElderScrollsOnline>AddOn they worked
