Fastest Class to level to 50 for alt/crafting.

Hello I am going to be making several crafting alts and I want to level up asap and then reset my skill points and put them all in crafting skills. What in your opinion is the best class to do this with?

Left DK off since I can only put 10 poll options...

my opinion is to level up alchemy and enchanting on any characters, and then do sealed alchemy and enchant writs to level up. class doesn't matter - should take you about 2 hours if you can afford the writs.

I'd say "doesn't matter" ...

Spec into doing decent damage and slot a self heal and any class can level to 50 about the same.
You'll get to 25 by just running through the main game quest with the prophet doing all his quests back to back.
The rest can be done quickly by grinding Vivec's Antlers in Stonefalls.

Yes, an stamina build might be faster simply as you can sprint more.
On the other hand if you want to save time rather than get it fast make an healer and run random normals.

However I have my main as crafter as she does all the quests and stuff so she has load of skillpoints.

Class doesnt matter for level but you will level quicker the crafting skills on an orc with its race perks.

You say you want to make many crafting alts; just make classes you'd perhaps see yourself playing in the future. The 1-50 leveling time is nothing compared to the time it takes to max out crafting skills and traits, so just make a class you would be happy to keep. That way you can avoid a future situation in which you may want to play a new character but can't make one because all your character slots are all filled up by stamcros that you can't delete because of their crafting progress.

The most efficient ways of leveling aren't reliant on your own class anyway - master writ xp feeding that a previous poster recommended, as well as skyreach carries or zombie runs or dolmen farming aren't impacted by your class choice. You'll be needing skillpoints for crafting so running dungeons for the quest or public dungeons for the skillpoint bosses can also be done on any class, and even skyshard farming goes faster in a group.

You want fastest go Orc anything for the Inspiration bonus.
But long term usefulness I'd say Khajiit Nightblade for cross-training into a thief with Blade of Woe. You can do Heists and Sacraments even if you can't fight because all your points are in Crafting. Plus the pickpocketing bonus for stealing stuff.

The only reason I can think of to create several crafting alts is the research time.

If that doesn’t bother you, then you could just level one character to 50 (which will give you 49 SP just for leveling alone), complete the main storyline for another 11 SP, and collect skyshards in every zone as you go along. This should give you more than enough SP to reset for crafting (for which you need approximately 140 altogether). There are plenty of other sources of SP too, which you can look up online, totalling over 400.

I find it very convenient to have one master crafter to do all your crafting, and this also means you only have to acquire the many style motifs on the one character.

Make sure to pick Orc because Orcs get 10% more crafting inspiration.
As for class, pick something with good and safe clear early on.
It's probably be either MagSorc or Stamplar. For Stamplar, make sure to get Repentance for the better sustain.

Oh and, try to have only one crafter for gear and not several. Learning motifs is much easier that way, even if effective research will end up taking longer. Consumable and Jewelry crafting can be separated as you desire without drawbacks.

Magplars are the clear best choice for healing random dungeons (with the gap vs. other classes set to widen a lot in Update 23), a good choice for clearing public dungeons and delves, and one of many good choices for dolmens.

Doesn't really matter, just craft a whole bunch of CP150 ( since its cheaper ) gear and let the alt decon, you will be 50 in minutes and just go get skyshards for the skill points you will need

Class doesn't matter.
Just kill all stuffs, and you'll get there!
If its just crafting you aim for, there really is no difference.

You can get there playing the game, and getting extra skill points for story quest completions. Or you can get there a bit faster by grinding dolmens or whatever.
Personally I prefer the former, but... each to their own.

Just getting to L50 will get you less than half the skill points needed for crafting. So you still need to get a total of 130 to 140 Skill Points. Plus whatever points you need to survive getting around in the game world, like to get to a special crafting station in the game world.

Figure on a total of 200 to 220 skill points for a character that can survive mob combat and be a Master Crafter.

If all you care about is speed, I found anything magicka to be quickest, simply because it is the easiest to get AOE builds going for mob grinding.

So I would probably go Magplar and do a mix of random dungeon leveling as healer and mob grinding.

Classes do not matter, however a certain race does - Orcs. They have an innate 10% inspiration boost (meaning 10% crafting experience boost) other than that? None. Maybe a StamrSorc for grinding to level 50 fast for skill points and mobility for skyshard gathering. Other than that, not much matters.

Also, Orc StamSorc is good damage if you wish to make it a DPS character later down the line.

Go with ORC for the crafting inspiration gain of 10%.
Go with Stamina Sorcerer because speed is useful to e.g. find all Skyshards (Easy access to the minor expedition buff with the Hurricane ability).
Go play Alliance War to get Rapid Maneuvers (Major expedition).

No it's not. Make character (an orc if you want of whatever class you prefer / have not already done), (if you find yourself at one of the "chapters") take boat/wayshrine to first major city of your faction and talk the Hooded figure and just swoop thru main quest. Prophet will always tell you to go do other things but he actually will immediately start pestering you to come back to main quest.

- Get to cryo when you can and do the intro to unlock alliance war attack Rapid Manouver.
- If you have more money than patience, you also can P2W for riding speed lessons.
- Learn2boat, those are great way to get zones where you have no unlocked wayshrines.
- Also unlock fighters and mages guild for pesuasion/intimidate passive.

As others point pout, It does make sense to have one character doing all crafts because furniture.

I got Dragon Slayer at level 4 right out of the new tutorial

I don't understand why you would want to use more than 1 character for your crafter. If you are worried about the skill points just go get Master Explorer in all the zones - skyshards and xp. You are going to want to actually have the character BE level 50 as well as skills to 50 so they can actually craft the stuff you want to make. Doing that on several characters takes time.

I just have one character be my master crafter, alts put their loot in the bank and the crafter breaks it all down.

Magclasses level easier because you dont need rally from pvp. I hate rally grind.

Orc bonus is low. You already get cp and eso+ bonus, +%10 will feel like %7-8. Khajit nb thief/assassin/pickpocketer seems like better idea. Orc(inspiration) , khajit and dunmer(respeckable to mag and stam for future use) are best for each alliance, if you dont have adventure pack.
