If you had to choose only one dps character who would it be?

Tough choice. I wold have to think what is the safest pick. I cant risk picking something random, only to find out that it was nerfed next patch because of some stupid reason...

    Magsorc.

Easy, straightforward rotation to execute. Great survivability via its skills. Excellent, consistent damage output. Lightning looks awesome!

Closely followed by stamsorc for the same reasons actually, though it somehow doesnt feel quite right being in melee while being a sorcerer.

Probably my Magplar since I like to run into the middle of crowds and watch them melt. Also a big fan of standing in stupid with impunity which she's good at. And just, yellow, everywhere. Praise. the. sun!

Currently, magsorc, basically because of power surge and lightning flood. Next patch lightning flood gets the massive nerf bat though (you won't be able to run that morph either because the new DOT's lock you into a 12 second rotation) and the redundancy between the major spell power buff of entropy and power surge takes much of the shine out of that.

To be fair, I don't love my magsorc near as much as I used to love my magblade back pre-morrowind when siphoning strikes was full light attack sustain, cripple and path gave you full major expedition uptime, and the passive group heals from funnel health were excellent group utility. That was some fun stuff but clearly unique class contributions are done for and we should all have at least 8 dots on our bar of which 5 or 6 are the same for every mag dps.

I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.
