Wanted to start this topic to let everybody know that teams of three players are screwing others out of completing the pledges. I`ve had this happen a 2-3 times so far and I need to know what to do, thanks.

Heard this before, premades kicking the 4th player at the last boss...seems to happen quite a few times on the pc...
If pugging is really that bad on the pc find a guild and run them with guildies, thats the best solution for this problem.

Hmmn, I've been kicked at the last boss before and I was bewildered as I had done absolutely nothing wrong and was contributing fine.

Perhaps this is what I fell foul to. Sadly A' holes exist and this means they exist in ESO as well.

I've seen that happen before and it's quite sad to hear that it's still recently happening. Hopefully that's the last of it. But as others have pointed out, running with a guild mate or even a duo lowers the chances.

There are nice players out there though. Don't let this bad experience stop you from enjoying the game.

Run through the group finder with just one friend and vote kicking becomes obsolete. Though without more information, a lot of what we assume until the OP posts more is probably conjecture.

Usually, most/all bosses in the dungeon need to be killed in order to complete the pledge. Seems unlikely that one person would be brought in on the last boss to get them the pledge. That person would have to go back through the dungeon (in another instance-since the bosses are already dead) and kill them again. No point.

This game doesn't need to import toxic players, they've been here all the time.

Not saying they haven't been here all the time, I and others have noticed and increase in the number. It's very easy to spot one. I don't hate WOW and there are some very nice people who used to play the game, just not a lot.

Any person they bring in for only the last boss also wouldn’t get the pledge, so it would have to be trolling of the highest order if this was their intent. Did you ask any of them why you got kicked? It’s worth assessing your own performance in group content. If this happens often, it makes me wonder if your dps is really low or you engage in other behaviors that make the, think you’re a liability for the last boss fight, especially if they want hard mode.

Can you give some insight into what happens in these runs before you get kicked?

I have had two reports this month through my social guild's PSN chat of this activity. Screen shots of the offending players were provided as a warning. A pair of my guildies were running vet dungeons for skill points and to level Undaunted. PS4NA.

    This was the trolls' procedure:

    1) When notified by my two guildies that they needed the quest for the skill points, the trolls said that would be no problem.

    2) At each of the bosses, the trolls initiated combat and would either hang back, allowing my guildies to die and then demanding a fee to rez or would kite the boss around, thereby needlessly extending combat.

    3) Running commentary in group chat denigrating my guildies' skill, builds, parentage, sexual orientation, and sexual habits

    4) At final boss, the trolls hang back and then use taunt to kite the boss far enough away to reset. The trolls would force a reset 2 - 3 times and then demand a fee to permit my guildies to defeat the boss and earn their skill points.

    5) Running commentary during the final boss fight (the trolls avoided combat) that they were willing to do this all day for 'the lolz'

In both cases, my guildies were forced to abandon group, take the penalty, and run the dungeons again. The troll commentary continued via whisper afterwards until blocked.

Unfortunately it's a thing. There have been a lot of complaints of this type of behavior in the last year and a half, so it has gotten worse. For those that get their kicks from griefing other players, this is a very effective way to ruin someone's day.

Best way to beat it is to avoid it. Get into a guild where people are actively doing that content, and group solely with them.

Some of the newer DLC require just the last for pledges. So if it’s was a newer DLC then their friend just got carried. For the other pledges that require all the bosses you can kill the last boss then go in on normal and kill the other bossss and it will still count as a vet clear.

So it was probably trolls helping their friend get a free ride; especially on the dungeons they might be too low level to queue for on vets.

2 vs 2. Unkickable mexican stand-off. The cruel thing is letting ppl die. Else they could leave the dungeon without leaving the group and do something else.

Wow been playing PS4 NA since release I am glad I have never seen garbage like that.
Though I have seen a good deal of people berate those they consider to be lesser in skill.
Also a good deal of people that run in die and start hate talking the tank or healer for their own failure.
I even saw a CP 200ish die in normal fungal grotto 1 as they ran from the start to the first mini boss without eating food died from adds as not even everyone was zoned in yet than had the audacity to hate talk the healer. It was sad:(

    Quite possibly so.

The way I laid out the facts as they were presented to me gives the impression that the two trolls set out from the beginning to troll. It could be a particularly toxic PuG group. The two trolls may have expected to blast through the dungeons (they are old, non-DLC dungeons after all) and became annoyed that my guildies were not as proficient as they were, and the whole thing devolved into a nasty, toxic, vicious example of a bad PuG experience.

I find it difficult to believe that two players would spend the time in queue just for the chance to troll, but few things in this game truly surprise me any more.

Someone on the subreddit was discussing this a few weeks back. I always queue into pledges with at least one guildee to avoid this, these people are just unpleasant. Not sure why they do it, one theory I've heard is that they're 'selling' monster helms (get someone decent to clear most of dungeon, kick them, bring in buyer for end), but seems more likely they just get a kick out of being unpleasant. Try to queue with someone if you can, then there is no way to be vote kicked (and you won't be paired with a 3 person premade).

Because they were trying to run all of the Undaunted dungeons for the skill points and Undaunted XP and did not want to incur a 15 minute penalty for abandoning the group, because they had more dungeons to run and limited time to get the grind done.
