The whole people dressed as Cats acting like housecats in an oversized world is just REALLY weird. They should be cat people acting like people in a world fit to them. My only more favorite was Phantom of the Opera live. I still get chills thinking about both! Saw Cats at Tuacahn (in southern UT) about 10 years ago now - it was awesome, even though it was 107 F at curtain up, and I nearly died of heat exhaustion before we could get the 40 miles home (where it was "only" 85 F near midnight.... if it's over 70 it's WAY too warm for me, and that was a scorcher of a September). I don't know how the actors survived the heat, in those costumes!
I'ma give Cats the movie a pass. I might be interested in seeing the new Lion King though!0
