As long as you had a lv50 xx class character, you should be able to purchase in crown store to change one of your character to that class

It is only reasonable, considering other skill lines can be unlocked as well

While your argument seems to make sense look at it from a ZoS perspective. Players can either spend real money to purchase several different skill lines or they can make one purchase to change class. The only way this makes sense for ZoS is if the class change is as expensive as purchasing most the skill lines.

Given that they sell skyshards, mount upgrades, character slots and soon skill lines I doubt they would at this point. It goes against their bottom line unless they price it ridiculously.

I'd love class change tokens personally. I just can't see them doing it

Hmmm, seems like an interesting compromise. I'd definitely level up my Warden character if it meant being able to the change my main sorc into it

While you are at it, add instant level 50 upgrade. Because (following buy-able guild skill line logic): "I already have level 50 character, so I should be able to BUY another one"....

I tell you how. The same way nerfs are done. Small step strategy.
It reminds me of this cruel experiment:
- If you put a frog into a cold water and then start slowly boiling it, the poor frog wont notice it and will be boiled alive.
- If you put a frog into a water that it already boiling, it will jump out immediately.

Same with P2W. If ZOS would add for example buy-able guild skill right away, it would cause a serious backlash. So ZOS added buy-able skyshards first.
Again, small step strategy. If you play long enough, then you probably remember how one day ZOS added Master Weapons to the Crown Store. YES. That happened. The Master Weapons WERE available at Crown Store for like 2 days, since the uproar was huge, they were forced to withdraw them.

So this is why I am afraid of the future of this game and its P2W aspects.
Today: Buy-able skyshards, Tomorrow: Buy-able level 50 toons with all skills maxed.
