Dear ZOS, when will this motif be available in the Crown Store? I will happily spend 4,000 Crowns on it, but I refuse to spend 5,000,000 gold on pages from guild traders.

Dude you each get one page per clear lol. 4 pages. Sure they might be repeats but you can sell them well to buy the one you want at similar prices. Especially if you get bright throat gear to sell.

End game players don’t have many ways to make money. This is one of them.

As mentioned above, the OP can stop being lazy and run BRP for drops.

idk, some people can't do vBRP. and don't pretend that there's any group of people who actually want to run that crap. getting a group together for vBRP is like getting a group of people to do vet fang lair hard mode on a console at 1 am during an off season. I'd rather just buy it with crowns than have to deal with finding people.

What you should be asking is “hey, devs, can you stop with crappy game design that preys on human psychology in blatantly unethical ways to support your microtransactions?”

Don’t give them money for crappy design, guys. Exploiting your wallet is the main reason grindwalls like this exist. Give it to your fellow players who somehow have the patience to perservere in spite of crappy game design.

Yes let's happily pay 40 dollars for a motif obtainable in game..one that you don't even have to farm yourself. Good god no wonder Zos milks the crown store. Even if one person buys that crap for 4k-6k crowns that's all they need to make a profit and continue to charge ridiculous prices.

i think one of the reasons why they dont introduce motifs imediatly in the crown store (same time as in game) is so they can judge the demand by looking at the ingame economy and that decides then the price between 4000 and 6000 gold... seeing as the goblin motif was just priced at 4000 and i didnt get the feeling from buying it myself that it was that sought after...

People can do nBRP for a chance at a drop ... or farm gold to buy the motif pages. It’s not rocket science.

I’ve sold 2 chest motifs for 500k and 2 shoulder motifs for 300k each, I’m happy it’s not in the crown store yet.

you guys already took the frostvault motifs from us (was gonna farm those but EVERYONE is o ly buying the crown version now that you can trade crowns for gold instead). dont take blackrose too, they're the only motifs left in game we can farm for money since gifting became a thing

Had to pay 60,000g yesterday just for the Shoulders. I noticed they're listing the pages as cheap as 50k and the Chests/Legs etc for hundreds of thousands. But all I cared about were the shoulders.

I didn't even realise they were dropping yet. Now I'm gonna need to farm some serious gold. Do they only drop on the Vet version?

They do drop on normal but I think the odds are quite low.
