Guild perks for clearing achievements

To incite players to stay within a guild and for a guild to provide Group Objectives, what do you think of Guild perks when completing some PvP, PvE (trials and dungeons), housing and exploration achievements?

Now what would these perks give? Maybe clearing a Veteran Raidlorn trial would give a minor bonus to damage, tanking and healing for the next vMOL trial? Or maybe a chest filled with motifs for clearing X amount daily quests in a given zone? These suggestions may not be the best, but in my opinion it would give a sense of merit as a group to achieve things in game collectively. It would create cohesion within a guild, and hopefully reduce the amount of new guilds forming with too small amount of players, or for some players to leave immediately a guild after clearing a trial. It would give a sense of achievement that creates the bond between players who just met. It could be alternate way to balance a game.

I apologize for the language mistakes. Writing from a mobile was not the best idea - how do you correct Poll choices ?

Yes, but it should only be for fishing guilds.

You wanna give rewards to groups... that will Not be given to solo players?

Referring to housing and exploration achievements more than vet dungeons obviously. So, the solo player does daily quests in one zone, and all they get are the standard rewards. But do it as a guild, which is so much harder... no .... wait.... would be Waaaaaayy easier.... and you get the rewards PLUS more goodies?

    Not seeing the logic here.

    IMHO

I like the idea of guild achievements but definitely not in the form of damage increases or motif drops etc. More tabard choices, unlocking a guild hall and so on are what the rewards should be.

I do not think that the end results will be what you think they will. I have played other games that had guild/club/faction quests and buffs, all that it does is make the newer groups loose people because they don't have those buffs when they can go join this other larger group that already has them.

What winds up being done is that you have some hard core players that will go out and do all of the actual work, and everyone else benefits from their work. so around 10-20 people do the work and 400+ benefit from it with no effort on their part.

If you really want to make something like this work, then it needs to be something like an all guild run would get you club xp/credit for a guild activity. Say a 4-man random or trial of all guild members.

I don't like the idea of a buff for the next {event} as say that I am in a trial group that just cleared the trial. I log off and 12 different people that didnt participate in the trial run then get this buff. I log in again, and no buff????

This needs a lot more thought put into the idea. You need to consider both small and large guilds when thinking about difficulty and rewards. The best idea's will scale off of the size of the guild roster when considering what needs to be accomplished in order to get a reward.

Only if no advantage in combat is gained with this.

Another idea to make the strong stronger and leave the weak behind???
    No, thanks!

Now, if there was a non-combat perk to be gained for a guild doing stuff together... though to keep down the date being tracked, that one would have to come in a different ways.

I imagine... if we ever get guildhalls, there might be special projects "do this, do that, and do those two, get special furniture unlock to prettify your guildhall" - that I could see happening.

    It's a mmorpg, not a msorpg :open_mouth:
But Housing achievments could be also used to increase guild rating/score ;)

Just like was the case in WoW circa 2013-ish? This would incentivize all sorts of problematic player behavior, but then again, so does having the "auction house" system tied to the guild system, so I'd say that ship is sailed.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

If they ever make Guild Halls, or allow a house to be designated officially via interface as a guild hall, then they could have benefits based on the guild hall if certain accomplishments are met.

Unique guild hall furnishings, extra guild hall features (guild store NPC in the guild hall, wayshrine, maybe extra features for bank/merchant NPCs placed in it, writ turn in place/daily quest billboard)

I think those kinds of benefits would be better than temporary buffs in my opinion

If guildhalls were added perhaps some kind of really special trophy furnishing.

This is the route I was thinking. Right now, guild houses are basically just some random person in the guild who set up their house for use. It would be ideal if there was an allegiance house, sorta like the Guild Bank. You need X amount of players in order to be able to get one, and then this would open up a whole slew of imaginative ideas to implement.
