Which set for magicka Sorcerer for pvp?

I have three good sets in mind that all could work nice. I am not running any pets so the Crafty alfiq set would be the first set I have in mind. Lich`s shroud and Rattlecage would be the two other sets I could see myself using. I really like Rattlecage for all it`s spell power boost and an extra slot freed up on my bar. There are just too many good skills mages can use so an extra skill instead of the major sorcery is always welcome.

Which two of these would you recommend and why?

If I use the Lich one that would mean being able to procc the mana regen on my backbar and use a different destro staff for my front bar. I was thinking of trying to get the Vdsa weapon that boosts destructive touch so that it would be my main spammable instead of Force pulse so it would free up one additional slot in my bar.

All suggestions are welcome.

    Necro/lich/bloodspawn...3x protective on jewelry. Simple.

Shacklebreaker. Its kind of the Swiss army knife of PVP mag sets. Rattlecage isn't a bad call for PVP, either. I prefer Spinner's over Rattlecage because it gets you the spell penetration you need for PVP. But both have utility depending on your play style.

Crafty Alfiq is nice, but check out Bright Throat's Boast. Its the mag version of Bone Pirate. Both are better than Lich, IMO.

Monster sets: I typically run Skoria. I like Zaan, but you have to be able to stay close enough to the target to make it worthwhile in PVP. Grothdarr and Ilambris are great for when you get inside sieges and things get compact. But Skoria is still my favorite.

I was thinking of using Chudan as a monster set for the constant res buffs.

But you have acces to boundless storm which also gives you major exp and does dmg.

A much better defensive set than chudan whose mitigation is affected by penetration, is Vampire's cloak and 8% unrestricted mitigation, so you can combine it with sets like slimecraw or skoria

I use bright throats boast + chudan + alfiq with tristat on big pieces. Vdsa weapon, lich are fine, just not enough damage and too much sustain. From my point of view, these are not good: Vampires cloak, Rattlecage, Zaan, Grothdarr, Ilambris, protective jewelry. And these are strong but not better than alfiq or chudan when coupled with bright throats boast: Spinner, Shacklebreaker, Skoria, Bloodspawn. And i see bright throats boast as the best set. For a magsorc in cp cyrodiil.
