Size of Furnishing Items in Crown Store

Dear ZOS,

Please make it easier to see how large furnishing items are that can be bought in the Crown Store. I just bought the Sithis statue thinking I could place it in my home with the set crafting stations from the Dark Brotherhood DLC. But that statue is humongous and when previewing it, that is not something that is made obvious. Even finding a place for it outside of the Psijic Villa was difficult. Kind of wasted my crowns.

Please put a reference item in the finishing previews (for example your character) so one can better determine the size of an item.

This website is good for checking the size of things: https://eso.mmo-fashion.com
But a good preview in game would be nice too.
You can try and write a ticket to support and ask for a refund, just explain what happend :)

Yes. I used to think those ESO+ free statues were, well, statue sized. Or at least short Bosmer sized.
But they are smaller than a mudcrab.

The preview tool does actually let you figure it out (sort of). Pay attention to the gray grid tiles on the preview. If something only takes up one square, it is very small and can fit on a bedside table. If something is five squares wide, that's about the size of a small table. If the preview zooms out so much you have a hard time counting squares at all, it's going to be a big, big furnishing item.

I was just about to post the same thing. If you have any spatial awareness at all, you’d have noticed the grey grid shows scale.

Lol, I never noticed that the grid changes. Though it is still difficult to determine the relative sizes of objects compared to one’s character (and thus other objects).
