Back after two years, so few questions.

Just logged in to the game and I assume all kind of nerfs has happened.

1. What is current state of stamplar?
2. Since IC seems to be separated from Cyro, is it now more or less populated than it used to be?
3. What dlc's should I buy first?(last one I purchased was Morrowind)
4. Are Orcs still superior race?

And if there's anything else I should know, tell me.

Can't answer your first two since stamplar and non-bg pvp isn't my jam but orcs are arguably BiS for stam dps.

between summerset and elsweyr expansions it depends:

summerset:

Psijic Skill Line
Cloudrest loot (if you play stam relequen is usually BiS)
Jewelry crafting (and therefore ability to learn and transmute jewelry traits)

Elseweyr:

Necromancer class
Sunspire loot (arguably good/bis in perfected)

You can get summerset with Elsweyr, so.. Buy the last ^^

I would just subscribe for a month to ESO+ and try out any DLC and decide. I'd also buy standard Elsweyr chapter for Necromancer and it comes with the previous years Summerset chapter to so win/win.

AFAIK the "full" version of elsweyr comes with SS, but the "upgrade" version does not. . .I was assuming OP wanted to buy the cheaper upgrade version for now (though getting them both at once with the full version would be cheaper in the long run I believe)

Objective answer as a player with 2 stamplars and 1 stamplar WW (PvE not PvP).

1. Imo, mediocre at best, but still fun and you can join any content if you do your job (well).
2. Didn't visit it much since the change. But I would say a little bit more. Biggest change (that I could feel) -> if some1 cries for help there, you can join/assist them very fast.... neither cyro queue nor riding/tp to entrance.
3. For PvE I would recommend either summerset or/and elsweyr for the PvE DPS Sets. (Cloudrest-Summerset-Relequen set // Sunspire-Elsweyr-Lokkestiiz. I would also recommend to look into the psijic skill-line, as it comes with summerset. If the skills look worthwile, one more + point for summerset. --> Don't forget : Buying the full version of Elsweyr (no update) includes Summerset.
4. Orc = one of the best (my opinion it is the best race) choices.
5. Don't start playing as a WW with current PTS patchnotes.
6. Don't forget to read 5. !

1. Stamplar is still trash
4. Orc is the only viable stamina race, they parse like 2-3k higher than any other race.

Welcome back.

The first thing you should know is that it's more essential than ever that you just play the game for a while and make your own mind up as to how things are. Opinions on a forum are not only divided, they are also based on where the posters giving them are coming from - and some of the posters who regularly express opinions on the current state of the game haven't played it any more recently than you have.

Play in whatever way you enjoy, regardless of what others are telling you. That's the only way to get full value from any hobby, and its the second thing you should know !

Imperial City seems pretty much the same it's always been to me. If making it a campaign has changed it's population - I haven't noticed. I would probably pick up Summerset for the jewel crafting.

Major nerf is incoming, Unless you just want the quests and Elseweir quests are very good.
I would wait 6 months
Balance team work hard on the too many player problem.

I have a lot of success with my stamplar for PvP. Typically small scale Imperial city type stuff. Usually no more than 3-5 people. Hits hard and alround has good sustain.

For BG I run a completely different build and it’s sort of hit and miss. Depends on who I’m fighting.

Orc is probably the goto race, but I wouldn’t know because I strictly play Khajiit on all my classes.

I’d definitely buy Summerset for access to the psijic skill line and jewelry crafting. Also clockwork for transmutating armor and weapons (you might not even have to buy it at this point, that will require more research because I honestly don’t know if it is still behind a paywall).
