I recently got a PC. Been playing eso on ps4 for 4 years. My main, on both platforms is a Stamina Nightblade, bow/bow.

- the Bow skill line has some of the most expensive skills, that as of now, have mostly been increased even further in cost.
- the bow skill line lacks a true execute, to which its closest skill (poison arrow & injection morph) has now been decreased in execute damage, while also decreasing the initial damage.
- the Bow skill line AoE has had more than one nerf. not only have you decreased the amount in which it ticks, but the morphs have us choosing between duration, or damage "increase".. which isnt really a damage increase since youve decreased those ticks...
- the changes to scatter shot are stupid. plain & simple. increased cost, reduced range, reduced damage, but increased knockback range? why? are you hoping that pushing someone back 3 more meters is going to help? because all that does is let them gap close for more damage & from a pve perspective you accomplish nothing. putting the heal at the front could almost make this a spammable heal ... if not for how absurdly expensive it is.
- the Ultimate, Rapid Fire... no one uses barrage... increasing its damage is still a dps loss because you are channeling the damn ability. Ballista, dps loss due to a decrease in duration.

- You increased Snipes damage 9% ... do you honestly think the pvp community is gonna be cool with this? I don't even pvp often but i know how cancerous Snipe can be. while i welcome it from a pve point of view, this isnt going to stick, it cant for the sake of pvp.

My build, uses nightblade buffs(which youve also messed up since elsweyr) & bow Abilities(plus caltrops which you also weakened) my damage AND sustainability are pretty much shot. I have very limited access to synergies as a bow user (range issues)& while the changes to resolving vigor might help, i have limited healing too. I've lived with the healing issues, & I take every synergy I can, but what this update does to bow makes it so much less viable for DPS. Which, i wouldnt have cared about so much if i wasnt seeing dps increases to 2h & Sword/shield (for some stupid reason, though the better fix wouldve been a passive for S/S that increases the weapon enchantment eventually reaching that of a 2handed enchant)

This may likely fall on deaf ears, or worse be hit with a wave of troll comments. I'm sure i will hear all about how wrong I am, but I'm asking you to please just leave bow alone.

    Humm i feel you´re asking too much for a simple weapon skill line. Of course, it lacks things... as every weapon skill line. Compared with earlier, bow is doing great, maybe because it´s a Stamina weapon and we all know Stamina DPS is right now much better than magicka. But the issue is that bow works now. The AOE nerfs, well, we all got it, and believe i play 2 main classes with most DPS skills are there (Templar and Sorc).

    This does more damage on the pts then live, by a lot.

    All AOE dots got a nerf. Hail come out all right, have you been to the pts?

    I'm on now & without the maelstrom bow, volley is not doin all that well. and poison arrow couldnt possibly be doing better with the fact its % was lowered along with initial damage, so unless there was a bug thats also been fixed then this cant possibly be true.

    I just overall think that there are farrrrrr too many nerfs in this one single update. if they have something planned for the last quarter that will make all this make sense then frankly they should say that. not just talking about bow at this point but just the whole update. im tired of nerfs. every update is just more n more nerfs.

    endless hail is bugged on PTS. Rather than ticking 13 times like it should at rank 4, it is only ticking 10 times. It looks like it is keeping the rank one duration rather than ranking up, despite the tooltip adjusting.

    Until they fix that, it will be hard to tell how hard it has been nerfed.

    poison arrow couldn't possibly be doing better with the fact its % was lowered along with initial damage, so unless there was a bug that's also been fixed then this cant possibly be true.



    on Live:
    +260% In execute: 1 damage increases to up to 3.6 damage

    On PTS: + 78% on all dot ticks, +100% in execute
    1.78 damage increases to up to 3.58 damage


    where's the damage loss?

    I have at least a 1k improvement on PI damage compared to live.
