I'll most likely stay with Heavy Armor and S&B, with some build changes, but I agree generally. Both StamDK and StamSorc need to be thrown a bone.

7th didn't get as nerfed as you think, it got changed.
It can be offensively proced at will now, instead of waiting for damage proc.
Stone fist or Volatile Armor will proc it now.
The missing 150 WD can be easily made up.

    Fury nerf
    SnB dps/defile nerf.

And your point is 7th got changed?
Address the whole topic. Which is about stamDK.

I prefer that I can activate it at will and the health recovery. Its a little less damage and probably should be. Currently you can be super tanky and still easily kill most players. I do run 7th on my current build and I'm not discouraged in the slightest.

    Well, 7th def got nerfed.

It can be proc'd at will now, but if you were in a fight, it had pretty solid uptime, so outside of being able to proc it before a sneak attack it will perform at a more reasonable place now.

Which is good. B/C it should be reasonable and not OP.

But 350 weapon damage is less than 500 weapon damage, so that part is def nerfed. And the health regen buff will equate to about half the healing over a fight as the heal proc's did.

The set isn't ruined or anything, it's nice that something can get nerfed and not ruined. Now it feels like an actually balanced set and not the only option, just a decent choice.

As for the stamDK thing - I think players sometimes over estimate how much they need stam morphs of everything. There is stam morph of breath, stam morph of claw, there are benefits to having some utility skills that work off of magicka IMO like buffs and such as they let you spend a rss you don't use much and buff your stam build. And there are certain weapon skills almost every player will run. With all that being said, it would be nice to replace a spammable weapon skill with something like stam whip.

StamDK, specifically healing, needs a nerf, let's be real bud.

The class can't streak, cloak, cleanse negative effects like Templar and Necro, and it's got slightly less healing sources than Stamina Warden (who has Major Mending and Minor Lifesteal btw). I guess we should just use the /playdead emote once we're forced on the defensive.

Stam dk has much easier access and better uptime on major mending, it's not even close. Plus minor brutality for more weapon damage which equals more heals.

Cauterize is very strong, it's a passive burst heal every 5 seconds.

Extra healing received from class passive.

Burst health restored when using ult.

Unkillable and melt everything with corrosive.

Ability to block extensively and still maintain stamina through helping hands and battle roar.

No class can go from defense to offense like a stam dk. Have you been in cyrodiil recently? It's filled with pet sorcs and stam DKs holding block until they get corrosive up.

You are talking about the SnB 72h 7th fury BS meta tat's been like this since before Medium armor got nerfed.

@Noobslayer3255 I specialise in No-CP/BGs, that might be where our difference of perception comes from. Mobility and the tools to disengage from fights are stronger there than face-tanking competent players. The class's survivability is not leaps ahead of others there.

I've dueled other StamDKs enough to know how borderline OP Corrosive Armor can be, and I agree on the healing received passive and the increased healing from Minor Brutality, but the rest seem to be a CP PvP problem rather than a class one -- Blocking extensively cannot be sustained without CP, Ulti burst heal is not significant enough (around 3k health in most scenarios), and Cauterize shines in 1v1 rather than group play.

Stam dks will be fine, the class didnt need perma 6k wpd with 40%+ healing bonuses to be good.
It still has great dots, ults and built in aoe fracture.
Dizzy just got buffed too so we will hopefully see more dks running offensive setups as oppossed to the current snb stalemate till corrosive and lets hope our opponent is too dumb to kite for 12 seconds playstyle.
All the Fotm stamdk reroll can go back to their original classes and all is well.
Btw with vigor buffs stamdk is still going to be damn near indestructible, but now instead of 6, youll have to settle for 5.5k perma wpd. Unplayable. /s

It would destroy the game. Literally.
Look at two of the biggest names to ever play and stream ESO - Fengrush and Sypher. They are primarily PvPers, because that's just a lot more fun to watch than someone essentially doing reruns in PvE. I call them reruns because it's the same thing every time. The monsters don't change. Their tactics don't change. The environment doesn't change. Their rotations are generally the same. It's boring.
Think of PvE like tennis. It's not too bad while you're involved, but watching a ball go back and forth for hours will send you to sleep.
