I'm so tempted, but I just realized that I have to install what amounts to a second ESO game...

Did a quick world boss solo fight in Elsweyr on the PTS, haven't compared to the live server yet (on my way out the door, will have to wait):

- DoTs are most notably weaker, trash mobs take much longer to go down
- Fights overall take a lot longer
- Shields felt OK-ish but i definitely had to heal more
- The Clannfear died a lot more than on live (?)
- DPS is down (duh)
- No sustain issues with heavy attacks weaved in

The log below shows a ONE bar fight, i didn't use my back bar to buff at all, just spamming the easy button skills:

Skills used:
- Hardened Ward
- Unstable Wall of Storms
- Liquid Lightning

Ultimate:
- Thunderous Rage

Monster:
- Infernal Guardian

Trying to get a clean run, too many damn players on live ...


PS: I might have to switch to Fungal Grotto to do this solo.

Ok, i think this is pretty telling, same setup as above but this time on LIVE without the pts nerfs:

A few things that stand out:

- "Tri Focus" is completely missing on the PTS (That's a 500k loss right there)
- "Liquid Lightning" lost 500k of damage
- "Thunderous Rage" lost 200k of damage
- "Unstable Wall of Storms" gained 100k of damage (because it was cast more often)
- "Unstable Wall of Storms" critical gained 400k of damage (because it was cast more often)
- "Infernal Guardian" gained 150k of damage (because it had more procs = more shield casts)
- Overall DPS went down from 40k on live to 30k on pts
- Live needs far fewer heavy attacks to sustain
- TTK went up from 2:45 on live to 3:28 on pts

Wow, sounds so exciting! All that progression on my favorite character now reset 2 years worth of DPS.

Thanks ZOS, this makes me so excited to try those new dungeons designed for the elite groups.
