Magicka Warden Ice Knight build?

I was curious if it was smart to run magicka warden with SNS as front bar and destro as back bar. Running it sort of like a mag dk. Really aggressive in your face throwing ice all around. Sounds like a really fun idea to me but idk if it’s even a good idea. If so what sets would be good to run that go along with the theme. This would be for pvp mostly btw. PVE id run it as a tank. Thanks in advance.

Ice tanks can be fun in PvP, @jam3s4343 ... as long as you have the mindset that it’s a support role (and not a pure DPS role).

Between two 5-piece sets and a Monster set, there are quite a few set combinations you can choose from, but a new player will generally want the following:

1- Defensive Sustain Set (usually heavy armor)
1- Damage Set
1- Monster Set

After that, you get to have some fun in picking the sets.

Some examples of heavy armor might be Torug’s Pact, Fortified Brass, Shacklebreaker, and Kagrenac’s Hope.

Some examples of frost-enhancing sets might be Ysgramor’s, Elemental Succession, and Icy Conjuror.

If you want to know what I run, it’s 5-pc Winterborn (includes jewelry), 5-pc Bahraha’s Curse (heavy armor), Asylum Sword & Board, and Master’s Ice Staff.

I have a Warden Magica tank and he works very well indeed. I've tanked most vet dungeons with him successfully (not used him for trials as I usually heal or dps trials).

I run sword n shield front bar, destro frost staff back bar. Warden skill set is excellent for tanking.
