Orb nerf makes shards a necessity.

Removing silver leash makes DK once again the only class with a targeted reliable chain mechanic.

DPS nerfs are what they are, in the end good players will put out enough dps to get the job done.

But nerfs to support roles and a variety of classes being able to fill them is the kind of thing that really makes the game less appealing for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm about 110% sure that silver leash still works as it did before [admitally with less damage, more cost and reduced snare] despite the typoe in the patchnotes calling it silver bolts[

It calls it a “gap closer” which to me says it will pull the caster to the target? I don’t know. I guess I will wait until they have time to edit the patch notes for clarity.

Either way as a chain ability it was already too expensive so the cost should have been reduced not increases, if it still actually pulls things.

Tanks got mostly buffs. Cost reduction on both taunts, and the heavy armor active skill now gives a 35% increase in block effectiveness... That right there is some massive buff.

    But yeah, healers are screwed.

I hope ZOS nerfs the shard synergy too so there won’t be any more complaints and players learn to build for sustain instead of relying on just two skills by other players to counter their own weaknesses.

ZOS likes to market the game as "play as you want" yeah sure if you are just playing dress up. I don't know how they can try and tell us all there changes was to try to bring the class in balance and bring diversity. Yeah okay so pushing everyone to only use DK's as tanks and now Templar's to heal. I guess that is what ZOS thinks diversity means. Someone send a dictionary to the ZOS Offices

Isnt pulling enemies to you a gap closer?

I guess that could be the case and perhaps I just overreacted to their identifying it now as a “spammable” and misnaming it in the notes.

You're just as out of touch as ZoS is. Congrats.

I have used that silver leash and found it to be unreliable. Taunting always seems more effective. Silver leash would never pull someone to you if there was some one close enough to either side, they got it instead. Just bad aim with that thing.
