i understand what ur saying but to 50% of peeps playing eso it will kill how they play, alot cant get high dps on light attacks, which where talking is 25% of some peeps dps, they will see things of why should i play as they will see there dps fall below 20k, as they can get more than 3-5k dps on light attacks,there is a bug at the mo where staff light attacks dont always go of. if we take the line from the notes, Many Damage over Time abilities, both single target and Area of Effect, have been re-standardized to follow similar behaviors to other ability types. Area of Effect DoTs will now be 33% weaker than a single target DoT counter-part and cost 30% more, just like direct damage AoEs vs single target ones which wall of elements comes under which is an area aoe, its old cost is 3510 which will go up to 4668 and the damage will be reduced from 198 dps to 138 dps

Why would I freak out about some patch notes when I have completely stuck account soon for 4 months now?

There will be huge rage the next days.. might have to take few days break from the forums if i was smart. Since trying to explain people that oddly enough, the PTS notes are 90% good stuff that yes, while huge changes, will make the game fresh and opens up new possibilities to all classes/specs.

People wanted nerfs to healing and so on, "game is too easy" was a mantra that repeats on forum daily, so now they got what they asked. Would imagine there was happiness, right?

And on PVP, there is only few things in the notes that needs adjusting (like the new Eclipse as an example.. imagine DW/2H bleedplars with the Onslaught change, not going into details, those who would be using it to the max know what i mean).

And yes, good magsorcs will still be strong then. Those who remember some patches ago when they worried msorc was nerfed to the ground and i said msorc will be the next FOTM and stronger than ever, it happened and soon msorcs everywhere. For pvp, good sorcs who adjust their build/playstyle a bit, will still be packing up people left and right and the "nerf sorc" posts will happen as before. Trust me.

There are many things most my characters builds needs to adjust and change to, new builds and so on. While can say these will "cost" me a lot, since many gear combos sorta go obsolete for me that i have upgraded to golden.. still, these will also open up many new interesting setups. As long as the few crazy things get adjusted a bit.

But yeah, here we are now. People asked "this and that needs a nerf!!" so now they happened. They should be happy!
