Random groups include players on my ignore list

Twice last week when queuing for random battleground I was placed in teams with players I've ignored. I could also see their typing in group chat (which reminded me WHY I ignored them).
I haven't used the random dungeon finder for months so I don't know if the same thing is happening there too. Is anyone else having this issue?

Edit - I'm on EU PC server

Seems like all Queues don't apply any filtering, specially Ignore list.
Not only that... even in Dungeons if you quit group - and queue again - you may end up in the same group (so there's not way to avoid penalty)

Yes, I've ran into this problem in dungeon finder as well. It is pretty annoying because, like you said, they are quick to remind you why they are on your ignore list.

First, when you post a message in the forums, please disclose the platform and megaserver on which you play TESO. ZOS cannot investigate your report without that information. (Please review Guidelines For Bug Report Forum.)

Aside from the fact that those whom you have chosen to "ignore" are in the randomly-selected group, according to your remarks, you can read what they enter in the Group chat channel. If your "ignore" preferences were acknowledged, then you would not see anything which they enter in the Group chat channel.

Maybe an "ignore" preference applies (1) for Zone chat channels, (2) for Say, Tell/Whisper, and Yell, and, (3) perhaps, also for Guild chat channels. The assumption seems to be that an "ignore" preference is invalid while you are in the same Group as those you prefer to ignore -- when you did not want to be in a group with them to begin with. Go figure.

BTW: have you tried applying the /ignore command for any player in the group while you are reading the Group chat channel? If I recall correctly, that has worked for pick-up groups such as ones formed to pursue Daily Quests, and/or to attack World Bosses and Dolmens. However, I don't recall whether the /ignore preference persisted after the group disbanded.

The ignore feature on PC/MAC only mutes people and blocks whispers, it doesn't stop any of the games systems grouping you with those people.

Which is a bug at worst, missing feature at best. It should be obvious that when I ignore someone, I don't want to interact with that player. Certainly not group with him to do group content.

Ok, so it's not actually a bug at all. Thanks for the help.
