it's a Valid Tactic, the same thing with defensive maneuvers, and defensive postures.
for Years, i have seen daily all the classes using invisibility potions to protect themselves from a fight they know they will loose.
infact it is even told for us to use tactics like that in loading screens.

Lol I fought a heavy armor high weapon damage stamden with blackrose duel wield, sword and board and troll king the other day. Needless to say I cloaked away from that foolishness. I’m not about to waste all my potions trying to kill someone like that. If you are playing any build like that I’m not going to stay and fight what’s the point.

Same goes if you streak away and / or do excessive LOS out of the natural combat area, every time you get low.

LOS, Cloak, Streak etc is fine to use liberally in a fight. Same goes for dodgerolling like a monkey or holding block etc etc. But there is a distinct difference between cloaking and reentering combat, and out right going out of combat for 30 seconds.

The worst is when that person then insists on re-engaging you over and over again, just to disengage completely for 30 sec. every time they are low.

Nah i just don't care if they cloak away, but i got like 500 detect pots so it's gonna be difficult for them.
Honestly, nbs who cloak away are just like any other class running or streaking away when about to die. I'm not quite sure why op focuses only on nightblades.

Yea, funny thing is, I have never whispered someone who defeated me or escaped me. I have never seen the point of getting worked up about it.
