This event is even worse than last time.

I wasn't a huge fan of these two dailies to begin with due to their excessively random nature screwing you out of a perfect run, but the desync/positioning bug is making all the stealth in these things virtually impossible to navigate successfully with no errors. I'm only doing them for the tickets, and it's a miserable experience.

I'm running through as fast as possible, ignoring anything that would slow me down. Including travel time, I had both done in under 4 minutes today. Even had one that just out of pure luck was completed under the allotted time. Got 2 motif drops from that.

How is that possible since you lose time every time you get detected?

You don't have to do them perfectly for the tickets.

I just did the main Black Sacrament target and totally ran out of time/got spotted five times doing the Heist and still got the tickets.

I realize that, but I still want a chance at the motifs from the purple bags to make it worth the time.

I kill everything I meet, laugh at the silly 'conditions', and still collect motifs 75% of the time... which, by the way, are worth 2k to 3k on my server. One step above junk.

If you happen to have a nightblade that is also a Vampire just buy 5 piece darloc brae and you can permacloak and Sneak and wont loose resources.

Heists and Sacraments seem buggier than ever. Even on a character with significant stealth abilities I was getting detected when I shouldn't by regular (non lantern) npcs.

If all you want is the event tickets, just run through without stealth and don't worry about failing the bonus. If you're after motifs, the ones that drop from the purple bags are dirt cheap on guild stores anyway.

Yeah, I Blade of Woe'd a guy in an empty hallway with no one even close to being in sight during a heist, and got the "You have been spotted! You now have less time!" message.

The newly introduced bugs are messing everything up. Not sure why they cancelled the Midyear Mayhem, as I guarantee it will not work better next year.

Why care about time? Just run in, kill, steal, etc., and get out. Even getting caught and killed after you've done what you need to can speed up the quest.

I'll simply be doing the minimum I need to do on a magblade and getting the heck out of there.

My elf wrinkles her nose at the DB but has no problem looting stolen goods from bandits (Heists) for the TG. She finds the Heists much more fun when she forgoes the speed/stealth bonus and just leisurely goes through the dungeon just like any delve (kill all, loot all). There is plenty of good loot in those dungeons to compensate for the bonus and you still get your event ticket.

Because unless you are maxed out on Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood, you get 20 points toward your next guild level for completing the objectives, rather than 10 points for a partially completed quest. Plus you get better chance at motifs to sell/learn.

Careless killing in a heist can certainly let you get out faster, but blasting through a sacrament like that will get you a very large bounty.

That's not a bug. You've never been able to kill anyone in a heist by any method (including blade of woe) without losing time because of it.

That's not a bug. You've never been able to kill anyone in a heist by any method (including blade of woe) without losing time because of it.

Memorise the maps and target locations. Roll magblade, be a vampire. Equip concealed weapon (movement speed increase in stealth while on the same bar as cloak), shadowy disguise and rapid maneuver. Profit. Its pretty cheesey but very easy. Cloak pass all the non-latern gaurds. Use the side passages to avoid the latern gaurds or just wait for them to move. Doesnt take that long.

Also a little bit of luck because you can sometimes get to your target and the NPC thats usually near them to make you wait before attacking can sometimes wander off far enough for you to kill the target quickly and get out. The side challenges are pretty easy too.

My sorcerer runned a lot of those dailies before, sometime can even get perfect. Now with my nightblade, these dailies are extremely easy, just got 2 perfect

After running 2 trials... I just ran through killing everything as fast as I could to get the tickets... lol.

what are you talking about? the only "desync/positioning" bug i've ever seen was what made corpses unlootable. heists and sacraments are just as easy as they've always been.

You haven't seen the threads and videos of npc's doing the limbo, moving around while laying down, etc? This is a huge problem for a lot of people myself included. Even with pick-pocketing, where the game thinks you aren't where you see your toon, NPC's spontanously sprinting in opposite directions, etc. If you haven't seen any of this at all, you are the luckiest person on the planet.

Well it's not like I'm the only one because there have been countless threads both here and on reddit about this issue for weeks.

the motifs are worth nothing as the stores were flooded at the last event with them.

Luckily I have met the prerequisites this time, as I did the base quests required to do heists and sacraments the last time.

So now I just travel to the 2 locations, start the quests, run through killing each enemy in the way, and return. Takes just 10 minutes, the longest part are the loadscreens.

After the sacrament, you have a 1500 gold bounty like this, so I use one of my toons after it finished the other dailies, and then switch to an "innocent" one.
So when I relogin next day, the bounty is 0 again.

Just permacloak through it, killing everything that detects you. You don't need perfect run for the ticket.
