Sunspire mount color change suddenly?

I've just noticed that the Sunspire senche mount reward color seems to have changed from blue to red after the maintenance? I could be mistaken but could this be an attempt to make this mount and a future crown store one more different from each other? If so this is an interesting development..

    Did anyone already get it? They probably wouldn't change it if that was the case.

    Now I wonder if they'll change the skin too, because it's, in same vein, a lazy remake of the holiday ice skin.

    It's good that ZOS did that. Those two mounts needed to have relevant differences as one requires real effort and time invested, plus high individual and group skills, and the other just money/gold.

    It also seems to look very good with that new orange ice.

    Nobody has gotten it yet. Although Hodor is getting close with HM speed run and 25/36 vitality.

    So the quality of the end product will depend on the time they take :p They will not change it once they get it.

    I’m not exactly thrilled by this change. How does the new look reflect anything in Sunspire? Nothing in Sunspire is orange, red, and red-er. The original also complemented the skin.

    The original having golden gear was at least a step in the right direction. Adding even more gold would have been better than completely removing any of the blue ice.

    I know the icon change has been there since at least last week, possibly earlier. I guess we’ll see whether anything changed about the model itself. Keep in mind that the lord warden shoulder icon was a dark red for the longest time despite the base color being a proper black.

    Now it's more of a my kidneys are failing colour of ***.

    Good point, maybe they’ll change Lokkestiiz to be a Cherry/Strawberry dragon instead of Ice/Lightning.

    In all seriousness, the trial reward needs to maintain the fire/ice theme. The crown store variant can have other random colors.
