Confusion and disbelief with the patch notes.

EDIT: Yes, i admit my mistake misreading the patch notes. It does seem the dmg of bash has been nerfed BUT the change impacts all S.B builds while the issue was with the Ult (which got a range buff)

"we've seen your feedback and concerns about the Pummeling Goliath ability and the detrimental impact it is currently having in PvP content. As a result, we have some significant changes coming for the ability and other related mechanics in the next week's incremental patch. "

Previously:
"Improves your standard bash attacks. Bashing deals 100% additional damage and costs 40% less Stamina."

Now:
Deadly Bash: This passive no longer adds a percent damage modifier to your Bash attacks, but instead adds 250/500 Weapon and Spell Damage to them.


While admittingly this was a massive issue to why the ult did so much dmg, and is now gone, ZOS have once more made a change that impacts all s/b builds flat and not those who were running the ult or even the class. The issue was the ult not bash in general so why not just rework the ults dmg and not bash as a whole.

    Bash now scales dynamically in damage, using your Weapon or Spell Damage as well as your Stamina or Magicka, rather than the previous scaling of only using your Weapon Damage. Its total power has been kept the same, but now requires an even balance of these stats to keep the damage the same since it will also require Stamina or Magicka to scale as well.

    Looks like a solid nerf to me.
    Just go and test it. They made it deal less damage and cost more to spam.

    can't be sure until the servers are back up tbh. never know when something else breaks during a patch.

    Since they can't fix the in-combat bug, we were allowed to change skills while suffering aggro - again.

    Now they take it away from us.

    Necro = only bash in PvP?? I rememmber how ppl cry when ZOS change Nightblade where magblade got nerf and cannot kill 1 shoot from stealth.

    If they finally fixed the cost of bash, hopefully major evasion dmg reduction from it as an AOE should be working too. woooo

    did anyone use bash for dmg in pve? as far as ik, dont think so. U could bash cancel in PvE but i think it was less dps overall as sustain.

    Revert the changes. This does nothing to balance PVP as the primary balance issue is still unkillable supercharged Mag Sorcs. Same as the last patch. Won't play PVP again until serious efforts are made to remedy this farce.

    It's a nerf to health tanks, as stamina or magicka builds will now do much more bash damage.

The issue was the ult not bash in general so why not just rework the ults dmg and not bash as a whole.


    Because they wanted to throw a bone to feed the unhappy zergilings and not fix anything in the class that was promised, or with the s****y game performance ig.

    Maybe next they will add two artifacts at the same time or fix a shadow of a random npc in Daggerfall.

    With its scaling... there’s still a couple sets that’s gonna let this ult be strong. You might just have to build for it instead of getting it for free with any setup.
