I, for one, think daily login REWARDs need to be complemented with daily login punishments (such as losing money or random bits of gear for failing to log in) for full coercive effect. Relying on REWARDs alone is subobtimal, especially given that REWARDs are horribly overused in ESO and players, who have to wade through diarrhea of REWARDs from login to logout, are becoming numb and indifferent to REWARDs.
At best. Those who do not subscribe to Crafting Bag + and have most of their inventories filled with crafting garbage may be actually apprehensive of getting REWARDs, which are basically just another garbage with label "REWARD" on it anyway, and which would only waste more of precious inventory space...Speaking of which, particularly menacing punishment for failing to log in would be losing an inventory slot, @ZOS_MonetizationDepartment.

Log in, see massive full page crown store ad, accept junk, dismiss ad, go to inventory, destroy junk, then you can play like before the "rewards."

I'd happily give up the fishing outfit to be able to simply opt out of the whole thing completely. The shield is useless to everyone who doesn't use a shield and part of the gold sink outfit system. It's gonna be expensive, or buy a token with cash. There used to be an argument for most of what they gave, but this is trash. I don't have an inventory spot for these poisons, especially in these quantities. At least the health poisons could go right onto a DW character. Soul gems can be burn that second on weapons used the day before. Crown repair kits are the bees knees, but this is uber junk month.

Even just one of these things would really help:

1. Make everything crown go into it's own crown bag. That would also save the hassle of trying to get it on the one character who might actually use whatever it is.
2. Allow the items to be vendorable even for 0 gold.
3. Simply allow a "no thank you" option instead of accepting items we need to destoy.
4. Let us opt out of the GIANT CROWN STORE AD.

My plus expired today and I think this time I letting that go. Combat performance this bad coupled with the constant harassment for more money is beyond obnoxious, if I'm paying $15 a month. At least with no sub I feel like I'm getting my moneys worth. Bar swap failure is more acceptable when it feels like it's free. So are constant reminders to give them money.

What would be your suggestion for punishing me for not having been able to log in at all with my EU account for almost 4 months now? My account got completely stuck when Wrathstone arrived, but no matter the reason the fact is that I haven't logged in even once and I demand more punishments, missing all the rewards isn't enough penalty.

The crown crates were the taste that was supposed to whet your appetite for crown crates and thereby incentivizing you to BUY crown crates.

The few we've gotten since then were just to mop up the newbs who didn't have the opportunity to get hooked during the first go-round.

I expected more of a push to net more newbs after Elsweyr was released, but maybe the free crates were cutting into sales too much without stirring enough demand to warrant more?

A nice costume and a very nice shield. I am happy to see things I can look forward to having.

The Crown food is nice, though I miss the Crown tri-pots and the Crown Lethal poisons, but hey, it is free stuff.
