ZOS why don't you offer an upgrade from normal Elsweyr to CE Elsweyr for money?

After having yet another in-game conversation with someone who bought the normal edition but wants the CE collectible items, I do wonder why isn't it offered? Upon doing a search I see a variety of people asking HOW to get the CE collectibles and the sad truth is they have to wait until next year when the newest Chapter releases for the CE items to be added in a pack to the crown store.

With the number of people I saw asking in chat about the Senche-Raht mount in the first couple weeks of Elsweyr and everyone since asking about dragonbone style or other collectibles, ZOS could be making quite a bit of cash if they offered the CE collectibles separately for those people who bought the normal edition, then saw the collectibles and went "I want that!" but were faced with having to buy the entire CE edition when they already owned the normal one and $70 CDN for the collectibles only is a bit steep!

There is a demand here ZoS. I understand not wanting it on the crown store for a year but putting it on the regular store would seem to be a straight up money maker!

Because it's for pre order influx of cash. If everyone knew they could just buy whatever they wanted when it came out that cash flow could dry up.

So why not add them in after? Then you pissoff those that preordered

CE items have nothing to do with pre-ordering, right?

If you purchase the CE version code separately, you can add it to your account and it will overwrite the normal version.

NOPE, but they do entice pre-ordering by offering them up.

They'll be put in the Crown Store eventually, probably next year once Elsweyr drops down to a DLC, same as the Morrowind CE items & Summerset CE items have been.
